Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

The crimson varg lay in utmost silence upon the chilled cavern floor. Small shivers ran down the soaked figure. The clouded sky outside made it almost impossible to see in the small cave; Though small cracks of lightning illuminated the cave just enough to see his surrounding. It was terribly dull and cold in here, but until the rain let up he'd have to stay here. The constant sound of rain began to toy with his mind. His own wet musk scent began to fill the cavern and mess with his senses. Several times on the ascent up he could have sworn someone was following him. But every time he turned around all he found was darkness. Yet he couldn't shake the feeling there was someone there. Even as he lay here something outside was making him uneasy. Maybe it was the way the shadows danced with each flash of lightning. Or maybe it was the nightmares that were coming back to life. Either way he was in for one Hell of a night. The storm hadn't even come close to slowing. It poured and poured and poured. There wasn't a doubt in his mind that flooding had ensued down below. The moist scent the rain gave off was sure to hide the scents wafting around just outside the entrance. He was vulnerable to attack, but he could care less. Maybe some wolf would do him a favor and end it all. God knows there was nothing left for him here. All except her.

Kushina. How he longed to see her face once more. Yet all he could manage was some day dreams. Nothing more nothing less. In some ways he wished his fantasies would be real, to be in her warm presence once more. Of course he wanted that more then the world. But there was no way she desired anything from him. He was nothing, how could he be a somebody in her eyes. After all she did nearly kill him that one night in Cavern of Secrets, leaving him a nice ripped ear out of the encounter. That was the last time the crimson varg had seen her. Then he left, and she moved on. Drifting through Blossom like a ghost. For all he knew she had left blossom, for some place with more promises. He'd be happy for her if she did. Accept the fact. After all the saying goes if you love something set it free, if it comes back its yours to keep but if it doesn't it was never meant to be. This fae that tormented his heart, would she come back to him? Could she save him from his pit of despair? If only someone would show him the answers. if there was a God he seemed to have answered his prayers.

Something caught his attention. The darkness hid a figure at the entrance to the cave. Kryptonite stared blankly at the wolf. The only thing visible was the outline of the wolf. The varg tested the air hoping for a sign as to the mystery shadow's identity. Small wafts of the wolves scent began to hit him. It was familiar. In fact it bore a striking resemblance to that of Kushina's perfume. It couldn't possibly be? The shadow, there was no way it was Kushina. He had to be dreaming. It just wasn't possible. Like a sign from the gods lightning flashed, illuminating the figure. It was enough for green gazers to catch the appearance of the shadow. Unmistakable red fur. Blue eyes like the color of the seas. It was really her. The brute couldn't believe his eyes. Staring blankly without an idea of what to say. If this was some twisted fantasy to get his hopes up, well he'd rather go to hell and back then wake up. But it was no illusion, she was standing there before him. And then her sweet voice caressed his ears. 'Kryptonite?'

The words where hushed but angelic. There was something in them that made him shiver. Before he knew it he had risen and was slowly slipping into the shadows. Why though? Was it to hide his shame? All Kryptonite could think of was having her here, right now. Trying to find the right words to say. And in the end the only thing he managed to pull out was completely pathetic. "Kushina....." His voice hoarse from the lack of use. Hushed down into an almost whisper. Before he knew it he had slipped from view into the shadows of the cave. He didn't want her to view him like this. This pathetic brute. Cowering in a cave from nightmares. He cringed but didn't move from his spot. There was no way she'd forgive him for vanishing like that. No way he could make it up. And in the end all he could summon up was a feeble apology. " I'm sorry." The hushed voice echoed silently throughout the cave. There was shame in his eyes as he looked down at his paws. He was truly sorry for failing her and the pack. Sorry for all the lies and broken hearts. The deaths and friends he lost. But most of all he was sorry for leaving her.

There was silence. Only the rain and thunder to disturb this moment. Small tears welled in the corner's of his eyes. Oh how he missed the ones he'd left behind. How he missed Kushina. Now look at him. Who would forgive him? Who would want to be his friend? God knows there was little trust he had left. He craved contact, company. Not from just anyone though, the Red Vixen. The crimson king sat hiding from her. Had she left? He hoped not. Her scent gave the delusion of both her presence and a stale scent. He gave in. Called out for her, because he needed her there. Needed her to fill the gap forged within his heart.
" Please....don't go........"
