It had all happened so fast, and to be honest was still happening. Noor didn't know what to do with herself. She'd been relaxing and practicing hunting, thinking about Ryu and how proud he'd be when she brought him a rabbit she'd managed to catch by herself; they'd been training and hunting together like that and she just knew if she was able to catch something she'd make him proud. She'd leapt out of the underbrush just as the too-skinny black-and-white male had, and from the moment she'd set her spring-green eyes upon him Noor had known he was bad news. She didn't have any real idea of how bad he could be, though, not at first. It wasn't until he had hurt her so badly it left her limping as she fled before him that she realized how bad he could be.

The slender, pretty red-and-cream wolf-dog femme was looking a little unkempt now as she ran. Brambles caught on her fur and branches tugged at her ears, stinging her face, but she pressed on hurriedly, casting an occasional wide-eyed glance backwards. Her long, deerlike legs tumbled over each other as her svelte figure streaked through the sun-shadows, speeding toward Ryu's den. It was odd, really, seeing the pretty girl so terrified and upset on such a lovely, calm day, with barely a breath of wind and all the comfort the shady small forest could provide. Noor wasn't flying only because of a wound to one of her wings, in tandem with the sprain to her paw, but terror drove her on to the only comfortable place she knew.

Seppo lingered behind, his emaciated frame intimidating only because of the absolutely crazy look in his mismatched eyes. His once proud figure was too skinny, bones jutting out at his shoulders, his spine, his hips; his mushing harness was ratty and hung loosely from his frame, the fur beneath it matted where it was not gone completely, having fallen off or been chewed or ripped off in patches here and there. The husky brute was clearly insane, and the twisted smile he wore on his drool-flecked lips as he hunted the pretty red fem he'd found only emphasized his madness.

"I can hear you panting!" he barked, the sound of his voice cracking and splintered in the calm day's air. "And soon I'll hear you screaming again, pretty girl, Noor," Seppo threatened, relishing the taste of her name, the memory of her fear - so fresh, so recent. The sound made her trip and the trip made her sob, but she quickly got to her feet and looked around, nose flaring as she tried to gain her bearings. She had to be near Ryu's den, she knew - there were flowers, she'd be safe... Noor flew toward the den again, slipping through the brush with Seppo just behind her crashing in hot pursuit.
