Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

The fae heard the squeal of a pup, as it drew its dying breath. The scent of blood wafted towards her and flooded her nostrils. As instinct, she shot up with all paws perfectly balanced in the snow.
The crack of a limb or two, and the sounds of gnawing on bone was distinct in the silence around her. She quickly narrowed her eyes at her surroundings, tracking every movement. It was then did she feel the presence of another. She wasn't alone.
Her front paws drove her first sprinting steps as she tore through the snow without a single sound. She shielded herself behind a great pine and peeked around the trunk. The first she saw was scarlet snow.
No, there was no such thing as that. Alleria knew exactly what it was. The overpowering scent of blood. A silhouette of a wolf appeared. His fangs coated with red, dripping down his jaws and onto the ever white.
Suddenly, he hid the carcass and laid down upon the body buried into the snow. He flashed his gaze towards the femme, but she knew she hid her eyes quick enough... Or maybe not?
Now it was time to decide. This wolf wasn't normal. A cannibal, and a bloodthirsty brute at that. Get closer, or stay hidden?
Well, she didn't need him speaking of her location to anyone else, but she was curious about this one.

Alleria spun around the trunk and around to the tree across quicker than the blink of an eye. She narrowed her eyes at the male, processing every twitch of his muscles in her mind.
She had been taught to never loose your focus and concentration when stalking prey. In this case, it was another of her kind. But that still didn't change one small detail.
She wasn't going to be the one hunted...HE was.
