Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

a small touch of happiness

The girl was becoming quite the little princess indeed. Kobato was nearing the end of her first year of life, and her six month mile marker as an orphan on her own. When the first snow fell, that would be the beginning mark of the little ball of fluff’s second year. She had survived the hardships thrown at her so far… but her second year would bring with it the new adolescent stage at its end… far from being a teen, Kobato was still stuck with her tiny, runt-sized body. Although her baby fur was starting to give way to a darker desert rose pelt color around her toffee-hued optics, and on her spinal cord. Other than that, little Ko was still the same way she always had been. Ever the silly, happy, optimistic imbecile. On her journey to find someone to make happy, she’d gotten attacked by marauders of a different land, for being in the way- as well as being herself (aka: annoying). She now carried with her rips in both her audettes, a long tooth scar goind down her left hind (of which she somewhat limped on- it will most likely be permanent, but will get better over time), and a good pounding to her cranial. Dried blood matted down the fur above her right eye, but it was nothing serious enough to be continuously worried about. She would have died from bloodloss if anything, and she wasn’t carrion yet, so she was obviously fine. But she looked scraggly.

When she ran from the “big meanie head,” it was not because she did not like him… no, she could never do that sort of thing. It was because Devil’s Angel seemed like a candidate for attention that poor little Ko could not compete against. Nothing she did had made the big guy smile… not even once. And no, smirking does not count as a grin… for it has devious intentions behind it. Needless to say, Kobato was enthralled with his massive figure and his dark coloring. Those piercing electric blue eyes and the scent of metal on him, as if he had rolled in wet rust, and come back alive from it. It drew in the little songbird like honey to a bee. Intoxicating. And that was how she found him again today, as dirtied up as she was. He wasn’t paying attention (that’s a first), and he was lying down too… amongst charred flowers from a blaze years ago that the field never really had the energy to overcome. In any case, his black frame mixed into the scene as if he were born for that area of expertise. Suddenly, he snapped off of piece of wheat from the flowers to his side and Kobato attempted to stifle a giggle as he chewed thoughtfully on the grain. Managing to keep the sound to herself, the little gal lowered her premature mass to the terra, stuck her ass in the air, wiggled her butt, her newly frayed tassel waggling back and forth, and then she jumped forth, scampering towards him, then jumping into the atmosphere.

Claws were drawn in, so her paws would not hurt him, and she let out a battlecry as she became airborne, a song that echoed a squeal of excitement and a newly acquired howling sound that her vocal chords had finally been able to complete. She cleverly landed lightly on his back, then glued herself to his raven nape so that he couldn’t see her even if he turned his head back in her direction. SERRYBERRY! Guess who, guess who?! It wasn’t really that hard to guess now that she thought about it, so she rolled to his shoulder and lowered her tiny toffee eye next to his static blue one. ITS KOBATOOO! If he moved (and there was no doubt in her mind that he would), the girl would fall to the ground in front of him, belly up, tiny narettes sniffing in his direction, big brown eyes looking up at him.
