During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The fae drifted off towards the woods, dark and eerie. The wind was a torrent of darkness among the gusty trees. The moon hung in the air, like a ghostly galleon tossed upon cloudy seas. The path was a ribbon of moonlight, as she brought herself nearer to the haunting trees.
The sounds of night were all around her. Calling her, to venture in. The fact was, she didn't need those voices. She had her own. And her own willed her to go in.
Alleria had been told of a pack. Cursed, dark, and barely touched by the sun. It seemed, maybe, a place for her.

Growing up was difficult... oh yes, it was. She was born from a mother and father, alphas of a pack far away from these lands. At a young age, Masquerade was trained to fight. As soon as she was able to run about with her brothers, the femme was taught how to hunt. Her mother had always brought her along to show the basics of how it was done, and she learned quickly. After catching her first meal, her pack knew she was ready. Alleria was about a year and a half in age at the time; they knew she had to be encrypted with the knowledge of an assassin.
She can remember still, the nights she would cry in fear of seeing death. Her brothers should no mercy when training with the elk, and her father explained that in order to live... you mustn't be afraid to see bloodshed. Her father showed them where to place their claws, where their jaws and fangs must be. Her siblings and her would wake at the crack of dawn, doing rapid sprints through the trees to improve their agility, and her mother taught her the ways of grace. She led Alleria through the forests, where leaves and branches fell to the floor. The fae remembered maneuvering her way over each obstacle so that not a sound was made with focus and concentration.
When she was around two years in age, she was a trained assassin for the pack. If the enemy pack wolves crossed the borderline to the territory, the female was ordered to deal with them. If it meant killing the wolf, then that is what she did.

Sadly, an event occurred. She was now forced to find a new home to reside with. A pack, she decided, was something she could deal with. And now she was here. In a place that reminded so much of home. But, there was no home... not anymore. She would have to find somewhere different to belong in.

Not a paw step too close to the border. A good foot or two away, perhaps? She stood, and hung her head low. With a swoop, a loud howl erupted. It sliced through the thin air, and echoed through the trees.
She waited, with her crown held high, in hopes that maybe this was the place for her to serve well in.
