Case history of my son: cerebral palsy (Spastic Quadri Paresis) since birth Posted on September 9, 2012 at 01:27:33 PM by Sanjeev Agarwal
Dear Dr. Sharan,
My son is a case of cerebral palsy (Spastic Quadri Paresis) since birth. He is 20 yrs old and uses elbow crutches to walk. He cannot stand straight and underwent 03 surgeries in past.
„« First in 1996 for Adductor Tenotomy (both legs)
„« Second in 1999 for Adductor Neurotomy & Adductor Tenotomy (both legs)
„« Third in 2003 for B/L Vulpious with split TP transfer for right leg
Presently he cannot stand straight; walks with support only but drags and turns his foot inside. He has tightness at elbow point, which is called TA tightening. HIP balance is very poor. He has achieved all his milestones (sitting, rolling, neck holding, crawling, etc) very late.
We wish to seek an appointment with you during your next visit to Delhi at your Vaishali, Ghaziabad center.
In case you wish to go through his videos, we may share youtube link.
