The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

Gonna play them both, starting with Elody:

The girl was certain of her choices, greenish eyes were hard, tail waving softly in the cool air as she waited for a response. And as quickly and as fluidly and efficiently as she had believed, someone had come to her call. From a distance the regality covered him like a precious, expensive coat. This was most certainly the alpha, by the way he walked and the fluidity of his movements. Instinctively Elody dipped her head, eyes still watching under her lashes. She studied him, seeing the old flesh marks marring his royal visage, scarring the creamy tone and leaving him forever baring his sharp canines. It provoke no fear in her, more awe and respect. He had been through a lot, something to be admired for. Ellie gave a small smile, wry and cunning at that. I expected one of you would be here so soon.... The tawny thing nodded, flawlessly falling into place as she spoke softly, creating the ilusion of a soft doe. If only they knew what was up her sleeve. HEr eyes did not change however, something primal burned in them, as if the fight would never leave her lime eyes after death.

Only was she greeted by a soldier, looking him over as he loyaly went into place behind the ivory regal, putting his duies before anything. El remarked subtly in her mind, that this would be her someday, giving the russet female a shudder of pride. Nodding, she simply fell to her haunches, rolling over, a small glance sent to the subordinate. No, Elody didn't play around.

BARRETT:
He knew where it was located. Like a map that was printed into his mind, it sent his sable legs carrying him subconciously towards the packlands, He was excited to admit, tail waving and high above his spine. His injuries failed to bother him, after such a refreshing fight, his hormones had been tamed, for now at least. Still, the beast lived on in him. Which to the soldier, it was a bit terrifying. But at last, he was headed home. His news was not too great, yet his father...Dear Scorpio...What approval will he seek and find? Or would his efforts be in cruel vain?

Barry didn't even have to speak, to think and remember the location of his birth pack. It was all there, his past life as a whelp had been helpful. And soon he reached it, inhaling the scents of his former pack and the still-strong musk of his dear father. Barry prowled the borders for a few minutes, finding the closest wolves to the territory ine.

And he could not believe his luck.

Assembled was the leader, Kershov and his father, and on the ground lay a female with pleasing form, trying to get into the pack. Tail waving, he trotted up, heart flipping like a terrified bird in his breastbone. He nodded to the regal, bowing quickly before barreling into his father. Dad! Puppy-like feelings crowded his mind, rubbing the side of his muzzle into his father's thick fur, resting his head on his shoulder. I've come home, Ignoring the female and carefully toning his actions in the eyes of the alpha, Barrett didn't lift his muzzle from his fathers body. There was some things...That came up. I can tell you about it after. The youth smiled broadly, turning away for a second to place himself at Kershov's feet, paws dangling in the air, throat and belly exposed.
