She expected more of a resistance when the huntress entered the clearing. Those who approached the Malignant borders were usually a little more… bitchy. But this newcomer simply dropped to her spine and averted her eyes like they taught in the textbook. Raising an eyebrow curiously, Samus Aran gently sat down to listen to what the lass was saying. Ma’am? Well, that was a new one. A slight growl rumbled from her throat as the lyrics ceased. The way she was speaking, her sudden submission, everything just seemed odd. Like there was an ulterior motive. And that’s when Samus thought back to the howl that had emerged from this young fae, how it almost called for the hunter by name. But why would a stranger come to see her, at her own borders nonetheless? Certainly not another mission; she could sense when that was the case. What then? Confused, the she-wolf rose and padded over to the stranger.
Bending down to talk in her ear, the valkyrie let sugary smooth words slip from her maw. “You know, “ma’am” is a forbidden word around here. “Bitch” is a lot more acceptable.” A rolling cackle bubbled from her stomach as she raised her skull and circled around back of the fae. Her lithe paws made no sound as the led her frame to the opposite side of the lady’s body. Her cranium lowered once more, but this time her ivories headed for the delicate flesh of the throat. But her aim was not to kill. No, she would have fun with this one. Her points gently raked the sensitive skin, snapping to a close just above the pulsing vein. No harm… yet. Positioning to speak in the newcomer’s aud once again, Samus picked up her same, signature tone. “Now, why don’t you tell me your name and what kind of little mission you think you’re pulling by coming to these borders.” And all the humor was suddenly gone from her and she pulled away, a frown upon her face. “Do NOT take me for a fool, little girl.”
