The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

Falk silently followed Ruhani out of the Caves, although she didn't know. She slinked over the border of Abendrot, of which he couldn't go. Falk padded to a grassy area and lie down. Right when he was on the verge of unconsciousness, his ears heard the slight sound of a fae giving birth.

Rue.

He whispered to himself. Not caring, he sprinted past the border and found the cave she was in. Falk was too late, they were already here. Two beautiful faes and two brutes.

They're beautiful, Ruhani. I have to be quick. You know I am not allowed here.

Falk pushed his nose against a bulky black and white brute. He wasn't named. The crisp whiteness was on his face, the darkness creeping onto the top of his eyes and his ears. It continued all throughout his back, the light creeping along his sides and stomach. It continued to his tiny tale.

His name can be Darkness.

Falk's thoughts flickered back to reality. The other male was a member of the pack. Who was this other little pup? The caramel colored one Rue called Cocoa? The adorable little thing. But the alpha or beta could be lurking around the back of the cave for all he knew.

Rue, I want to be here with the pups, with you. But I am forbidden to be here right now, you know that. I am going to bring down a moose or something to show to the pack. It can be my redemption. I love you; if it doesn't work I will howl to you. See you soon.

With that, he nodded at the brute who obviously help his mate during the birthing. Then he looked to Truffle.

You can't have them, little one. But I am askink you a very special honor.

He kneeled in front of the pup.

I am trusting you to help Ruhani with these pups. Only the most best and honest wolves can recieve this duty. This is a once in lifetime offer.

Falk chuckled inside, but he kept a quite serious face on the outside. This little pup would fall for it. Rue probably needed the help, too.
