During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

[OOC: Hey, no worries. ^^ And I have no idea either. o.o Kiki’s a little butt sometimes, I’ll smack her tomorrow. <3]

The fae was quick to drop and submit, always a good sign since one of his major principles was respect. Without respect he would simply be another babbling tyrant parading around shared land like it was his own. Yes, he was a feared man, but feared for all the right reasons. Strict, yes, but fair. Once someone earned his trust and admiration they were sure to be taken care of. Looking, though, at this mistress, he found unrest in her shifting portals. Something he had said? An eyebrow raised curiously, still looking down on the girl. If she was offended by a slight of tongue then she would have a whole ‘nother world of hurt coming her way. Why, when he played with his words the very gods stopped to listen to their melody. And he didn’t even believe in those phony idols. So Serris let the girl stay on her back for a minute, pondering why she was so offended by his natural, sarcastic self, and when finally he was starting to get bored he motioned for her to rise to a comfortable position.

“Cat got your tongue, sweetheart, or are you just too offended to talk to me?” Well, if he was going to weave his words into insults today, he might as well not stop at the first comment. With this second statement he presented the smallest of a grin, only the turning-up of his kissers visible. “I’m gonna need your name sooner or later, but if you want we can draw this out into a game of whit, although I assure you I’ve already won.” The words were cocky and purely Serris, a taunt and a question and a command all in one splendid delivery. Oh no, this lass was getting the full treatment. He decided to stop there for now, though, and let the valkyrie express herself before he went off on some other tangent, as it was quite easy to while waiting in a slightly awkward silence. Let’s face it; the Alpha was always the one who had to start and end things, and to be honest that got incredibly uncomfortable at times. Why not let this girl lead for a change of pace?
