Oh, things happen once in a while. A slip, a fall, an occasional tumble down a slope. A broken bone, a boo-boo, a simple scratch. That was all her encounter with Axel was, and the wound would be...mended. Yes, that's the word. A potential friendship would be restored, and Nix would be smexy with Axel once more. (xDD) Perhaps they would even finish what they had started, but this time, it would not be Sacred Stones. It would be somewhere more dangerous. The Cavern of Secrets.

Mysterious? Horrifying? Those were two idiotic words that did not apply to this place. But moist and dank definitely did. The ground was slippery under her black pads, but she did not fall. Instead, the scent of blood touched her nose and she looked neutrally at those strange puddles. Her tongue strayed to it and she let it delicately dab the surface, causing ripples to caress the blood. The vixen's thoughts strayed to the wolf that had made them, but she snapped back into place when her paw almost plunged into the miniscule(?) pools. She muttered quietly about how she would sink her teeth into the neck of that wolf, until she remembered her little plot.

Her cards were splayed out and bleeding, desperately screaming at her to put them away. As she did, a certain weariness threaded her. The demoness curled up in a shaded spot near the entrance, where she wouldn't be too easily spotted, and her amber orbs fluttered shut. Before sleep consumed her, Nix let out a soft whisper.

"All right, baby. Let's finish what we started."
