Malignant Felicity is a paradisaical abode to the faithful remains of a mighty pack. Once ruled by the magnificent wolf Genocide, now the wolves of this pack follow the laws of the Alpha Lance, son of Sorna, Beta and Genocide's best friend...

The sounds of crashing water fill your auds as you enter this tropical paradise. The tall trunks tower above you. The treetop canopy's seem to shade the beautiful land from the sun's rays. What a paradise this place seems. This place dubbed Malignant Felicity. As you draw closer to the boarders a stench slowly devours the air around you. The stench of death.

"Beware..." scream the birds from above you. "She kills for games. She kills for fun." Something deep inside tells you to listen. Your body tells you not to go no further. Do you listen or do you dare move into the pack borders. This could be a life or death decision...

Follow the Queen, or become a corpse that lines her border. The choice lies with you.

What could she say? It was typical Malignant. Spurts of action and newcomers, then a drag of bitter nothingness. What’s more, the scent of Queens was starting to fade from the landscape, and this caused some restless emotion within the fae. No, of course she wasn’t worried. In her line of work you could never be worried, since that led to fear and mistakes, two angels of death. No, there was always a solution, always an explanation, always a way to squeeze yourself out of the most lethal situations. But, of course, the best way to avoid all that wasted energy was to not fret in the first place. And so the crimson lady paced, a lap back and forth through a corner of the packlands, wanting to keep her body and mind moving. Samus wondered when the next explosion of activity would occur. Soon, hopefully. She couldn’t stand being cooped up like that, pacing like some crazed animal when she could be off making a living for herself again. Great idea to join a pack she growled to herself, although she truly did enjoy staying within the borders and her lie was obviously out of frustration. It only follows that, when a howl summoned them from between the trees, she was quick to stretch those lean pistons and make for the meeting.

It was not Queens, though, who was in charge, and honestly that didn’t come as a surprise. She’d have to come back soon before people started to get restless, and her Beta would have to make a tough decision. She smirked at the thought of leadership, fighting her way to the top in the absence of the Alpha, but that was not her place, and she really was not one for leadership. Her soul was independent, yes, but she followed orders, and it was simple as that.

It seemed she arrived slightly late, three wolves making themselves comfortable in the clearing. The first was Devil May Cry, the dark brute who had called them, and she could hear the tone of a hunt edging his vocals. Fine with her. Slowing down to a near crawl, she used the added seconds to survey the other two creatures present. The other male was familiar to her, although she didn’t know his name. The best was close to Queens and that was enough information she needed to know. The second was obviously a newcomer because she reeked of outside, the stench making her nares wrinkle. She hadn’t been out in a while, had she? But it would only be nice to say hello to this fellow valkyrie, so Samus decided she would do just that. Resuming a decent speed, she padded into the clearing, heading towards the back of the new mistress.

Her frame reached that of the other fae’s quickly and their shoulders met with force. Sammy allowed her banner to quickly wrap around her lower back, as she would let it slide as she walked away. But before she took her departure, the huntress lifted he muzzle to speak in the auds of the stranger. “Welcome to hell, little girl. The words were sharp, the last three syllables uttered as a purr. Sure, they were cliché, but that didn’t mean they were any less effective. Besides, Sammy had been too bored for too long to think of anything better. Her brain was still trying to shift into gear again. After her message had been delivered, she reached higher to nip at the tip of her sentry before pulling away with an amused chuckle, her emerald portals making contact with the newcomer’s for a split second as her head twisted around.

Samus Aran chose a spot near the two boys, finding them more familiar and better company than some strange new girl. To both she gave a nod, a simple greeting but an effective one, her own rump hitting the terra a few seconds later. Then, as an afterthought, she turned to Devil, who was obviously in charge of this whole thing. “I see you share my restlessness at the inactivity of this pack, although I doubt a hunt will be a permanent remedy.” Her lyrics were clean and to the point. Of course she still wanted to go, this bounty hunter would never turn down a chase, but they all had to realize one group activity would not heal everything.
