One moment, little Kobato was on the terra firma, her smiling face rebounding happiness in the most adorable of ways... and then, the cologne of Serris came tumbling down upon her. Literally. She was suddenly swept up into his jowls... far too roughly for her liking, though she did not make a fuss while he did so. Before she could say anything, Serris cut her off. Excuse my tardy entrance. We've been having a pest problem around here, and I've been trying to get it under control. Pest problem? Kobato looked up from where the black monster had a hard hold on her scruff, and she tucked her tassel in between her legs, though she was still wriggling with incomprehensible joy. Serris, Alpha of Munashii Gekko. Kobato turned her desert rose apex to look over at the duo that had been standing by the borders.... the ones that she had kept company for a short while. A big smile erupted onto her features, and then suddenly, Serris' head swung, making little Ko writhe with a bit of pain. He wasn't cutting into her, but she had never been picked up like a babe before. It was a foreign feeling, and the little princess did not quite know what it was supposed to feel like. Now if you would excuse me for a moment. Uh-oh. That meant he was going! But wasn't he going to welcome the two into Munashii? Kobato's smile ceased to exist on her kissers, and she looked up again, a tiny innocent, naive, appearance showing on her palette. Say goodbye, Kobato... Kobato let a small smile appear again on her features, and she turned her palette, only to be yanked away again. Bye-bye! She was hardly able to get the second syllable out before she was suddenly on the most sickening roller coaster of her life. Serryberry had an unsteady lope... one that made the youngling want to throw all of her meal up back onto the ground where she had originally gotten it from.
A little while later, he dropped her onto the dirt, and she landed loudly on her side. Nothing was broken, but it sure hurt! Kobato bit her lip, then, with renewed energy at the sight of Serris' pillars, she looked up into his electric blue eyes, and wriggled her rump, struggling into a sitting position. She was covered on one side in soil now, but he had not re-opened the wound on the back of her neck, in between her shoulder blades, which only helped the little one to feel that he was a hero even more. Serryberry! Kobato missed- A very parental look was placed upon her by the King and she quieted herself as he opened his own maw to speak. You know why I'm mad. Indeed, Kobato did. She was starting to gain more awareness of herself and others, and what emotions felt like and how to deal with them... but she was too kind of a creature to keep darkness inside her heart for more than a few mere seconds. It just could not house itself within her. And it never would be able to. That was the great thing about little Kobato. Pure as a ray of sunshine. But she kept smiling at him even though her rump having stopped wiggling by now. Yes, yes, pups should not talk to strangers... they could hurt oneself... But look, look! Kobato is not hurt! See? She held out her paw, though quickly pulled it back for the dancing with trees had left her with small incisions on her pads. That was her own fault. When she looked back up, Serris had closed his pools, which made Kobato feel a tiny trace of doubt within her. But her audettes twitched at this feeling. She should not feel doubt. Not at all. She would never get her wish granted if she was able to feel doubt- and regret. However, there is always a specific time in which one needs to actually acknowledge that what they did has messed with the plans of others. Kobato's toffe portals swiveled uneasily. Kobato just thought... that maybe... she could help! Serris is always busy... and to be friends with Serris means that if he is need of help... Kobato should help! Her words were the truth, as she spoke them from the heart... however, it was not easy for her to put them into the tone she usually withheld. This one was more... factful, than apologetic, as some should think it be. If she had been a few months older, Kobato would have been blurting out words that would cut upon the beast. But so far, the young lass had been able to hold back the innerself that incoporated fear, and she would never dream of doing such a terrible thing as to make another feel guilty for their own words and actions. Kobato wants to make your heart happy. Kobato will not leave until it smiles. And it was now that Kobato closed her optics tight and raised her melodic voice as high as it would go, still holding its perfect pitch. This was not a stab at him. It was a hopeful announcement that was directed at the organ beating beneath the black demon's chest area, protected by white ribs and tucked in safely with other such organs that were necessary for the body to keep itself alive. Sometimes it's okay for hearts to smile! The tiny ball of fur stood up, put her tassel back down in its omega position, and she held her ground, prepared to be swept off her feet yet again. She offered up a bright smile, and let loose another set of lyrics after waiting a little while. And suddenly her excitement returned, like ink to Amaterasu's celestial brush. Can we go back now? Pleeeease? They will leave if they aren't invited to play with us! Set and Rise can be knights! Castle's need knights!
She did not wait for an answer now. Instead, she shot back off towards the border, a small, almost unnoticable limp in her step from her drop. Drama was not usually a thing experienced at pack borders, and Kobato thought it to be unnecessary. Hopefully, the brothers would not leave the oppurtunity of a game and knighthood! :) But with SerryBerry as King... anything was quite possible.
