The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

Watch Me Come Undone

I watch as the porcelain stained female rolls obediantly over on her spine, showing off her lovely jugular and stomach. I lick my lips teasingly but hold my ground, smirk tugging at my mouth as I flick my tail. Good job, Ivev. Nice to know that some wolves still hold to tradition. Eyes gleaming, I snap my head around the moment the familiar cologne wraps itself around me. I inhale deeply, ears folding back in respect as none other than Kershov steps from the shadow, the forever grin on his strangely handsome features. Sure, most might call him disgusting, sickening to look at, but I find something oddly fascinating about his face, something wild, savage, appealing. Maybe that's just the tundra wolf in me.

At his comment, I give him a playful wink and a teasing grin, flashing the corner of a fang as a dark chuckle drips from my ghostly lips. Aw, Kershov, you flatter me. I lean in a little closer, clicking my teeth near his ear. Of course I'd win. I pull back with a satisfied smirk as he turns his attention on Ivev. I prick my ears, listening as he says her name and asks what brings her here. He thinks for a moment before asking what her skills sets are so he'll know where to place her. I hold my ground, listening and ever watchful.

I can tell by my cursory glance that Kershov has been keeping himself busy. His muzzle and fangs are washed in blood and his eyes have that ice cold stare that a killer would wear after torturing a victim. I hear he has a new little pet he keeps with him, a male wolf, a member of his old gang. I can't even begin to guess what the male must have done to deserve it. I don't think Kershov's ever told anyone and I feel its not my business unless he chooses to tell me.

Ivev continues to stare at my paws, shifting uncomfortably but I know she can handle the weight. As Kershov comes into view, she looks up and I can see the instant horror in her expression. She's quick to cover it and roll onto her stomach though, answering his first question about needing refuge. Her next comment has my smirk tightening as she says that she knows how to heal and that she feels there will be much need for that here. Smart girl.
