The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

Marx and I battled one another with our wits and cute word sparrings. Yet, it didn't take long before another Abendrot scent touched my keen senses. This would be a female, and I thought I could place the scent but I wasn't completely sure. My auds perked as the snowy fae with the ebon mask crept into my pools view. Maple shards taking in her frame, I couldn't remember if I had seen her at the last gathering I had acquired when I visited Abendrot the first time. She went to move towards Marx, but shifted direct at the last moment and left some space between the them. I slight "hmm" escaped my maw as a smile tugged further onto my features. My amber pools glanced between the two as my tiers tugged further upwards into a menacing smirk, before letting them lay back on the white fae. She spoke of my name and I couldn't help but stand up and take a slight bow, it was all in good fun. Sarcastic fun but fun none the less.

Ahh, looks like Marx will find out my name after all. Such a shame though, now I am left wandering your name snowy fae. I have to say if I wasn't in my particular situation this could have ended up the three of us having some fun. But yes, I am Minaj and I guess you could call me an friend of Kershov's, I'm not really into the title thing.

I couldn't help but giggle at the thought, but it did sound nice. Marx looked wolf enough to handle two strong willed faes, but at the same time more refined. I pulled my pools from the female known as Enigma back to Marx.

Marx, you remind me of a wolf I once knew....who are your parents? Maybe you are just familiar to me because of that reason...

I damn well knew I had seen Marx before. Hell, I had nearly fucked him at one point. Yet, something about him caused a painful memory to arch back into my little brain and a name that I wouldn't dare speak of cross my mind. He looked like my Emore Cae and Pendulum children, both brothers so the resemblance was there. I wasn't sure why he looked that way to me, but he did and I was curious to know more about him.

You know this greeting party has been much nicer than the last one...

I went to speak further on the matter when Kershov's scent hit me like a sack of bricks. It was always so harsh smelling, that is what set him apart from everyone else. His scent was heavy and flooded the area around me and my two new friendly faces, if that is what you wanted to call them. He strutted in, looking as handsome as ever. I watched him take me in and suddenly a smile was etched across his face, I guessed he was happy about the impending news I was about to tell him. Hell, made my job a lot easier. As for me ripping my mask off and announcing who I really was...well I definitely was not going to do that with these other two around.

I smiled back at Kershov and quickly answered.

I'm sorry m'love but I needed to take care of some business outside of Blossom. I don't find you as a blind idiot so I guess it is safe to say you know why I am here. Congratulations m'king you're going to be a daddy.

I couldn't help but let my smile twist into a smirk. Hell none of us were idiots here in this small gathering and everyone was aware of my current state before I ever spoke a word, so I was just simply stating the obvious.
