Her paws slammed on the ground as she ran by him, brushing her fur against his for a moment as she whipped around. A smirk alighted her face, but her eyes shone with a desperation. She needed that power, no matter what the cost.

"Axel, you know that I am a worthy creature of this kind of power. That is what the lady wants. The power that you speak of. I need that power, and you need the pups in my belly. So, if you do this, we will both have what we need."

She was then on the floor, a beggar looking up at a wealthy citizen with hands cupped. Yet, she was also persuading him, mentioning both of the things they wanted.
