It was a step, then another, and soon the vixen had arrived at a cavern wall. Stalagmites sprouted from the ground, enclosing her in a little cage like den. She was satisfied, with her kill before her paws and its precious blood splayed across her fur and muzzle.
It was about a few hours after dawn and prey had been lurking just nearby. It was without a doubt, and easy kill and within short time it was now within her stomach.
