A wide river dominates this section of the forest. Romance is in the air, and wolves of all ages come to search for their mate.

^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ Bjomolf stood on the edge of the wide river, a light breeze blowing through his thick coat. The large male held himself proudly, strong muscles keeping him stood rigid as he scented the air. Overgrown fur around his neck framed his thick face with a stern expression set that gave almost nothing away. The river a few steps away flowed slowly, meandering away from the large stone slabs he stood on in both directions. From the tall trees a scent of fresh pine was carried, wrapping around his body before following the wind. From the way he stood, tail held high, an onlooker might mistake him for a statue at first, symbolising the pride of a wolf. He knew and trusted his abilities, the cool look from his eyes as he observed the area in sight was collected and lacking in kindness or malice; his expression simply was. However, one stepping closer could see that first appearances weren’t always proven to be correct. His eyes had a slight glint within them, unmistakably revealing longing. He was new in Blossom Forest and this was the first place he had come. He could sense the peace surrounding this stretch of the river, see a few pairs of mates standing together and talking about whatever they felt was necessary. He had never thought of taking a mate before but now that he had found somewhere peaceful to settle down the idea didn’t seem so bad. His hind quarters sank to the cool rock and he sat, his new position on the stone just as statue-like as when he stood. His back was straight and he looked ahead, into the trees on the other side of the river. He would remain here for a while, the fact that in such a place there was no need to constantly move suddenly washing over him and he felt more relaxed than he had in a while. ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ |
