At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

I move out of Bright Moon, craving some solitude after the chaos of the pack hunt. My team did good, they stuck together and did as told. I heard the same of Tamlin's group, though I have yet to hear of their success or failure. I still think back on the moment that Ambrosia took to Tamlin's group instead of mine, throwing off the order of Tamlin's directions. Maybe I'm just overthinking it. Maybe she just has a thing for the king or wants to gain his approval. Maybe she thinks he should see her in action since he didn't give her lead over the other hunt group. Or maybe she just hates me for some unknown reason. I frown at the thought before I brush it away. No need to lower my mood when I'm actually in a fresh mood. I got to get rid of a lot of pent up energy on the pack hunt. I took on a wild sow! It was exhilerating, in a fearful adrenaline rushing kind of way. I directed my own group of wolves to distract and take out the sow and everything went perfectly. I couldn't feel better about the way things went. But now it's time to cool down my sore muscles and get a refreshing swim in the lake. Sounds good to me. I find myself on the shore of the lake. I lower my head first for a drink and then I slowly move into the shallow water, my body shivering at first contact. It's cold but refreshing. I step in my feet no longer touch the bottom and then I'm swimming, huffing out pleasantly as the water washes away the dust and grime from my porcelain coat. When I'm exhausted from swimming and feeling clean, I swim back to shore and get out, shaking out my fluffy coat, sending streams of water flying as a contented sigh escapes my lips. Then I settle down on the shore, laying out flat in the sun to dry off, my eyes closing lazily as I settle off to sleep. Misty_female_adult_no mate_no children_Delta of Bright Moon |
