Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

Elenisia was feeling particularly bitter at the moment, if she was to stop and reflect on the emotion that was tingling her legs, anger pounding harsh against the ground as she scaled the mighty slope in front of her, breath coming in short, harsh pants. The terrain had been far different from this where she had come from, soft and gently sloping, with miles and miles of grasslands. The place where she was too rule, over the many wolves that had called the place their home.
But that wouldn’t happen, would it? Fate would take what was right and gobble it up with its nasty, yellowed teeth and spit out some half-baked concoction that wasn’t going to do anyone any good.
Oh, the mere thought of what had gone down made her insides seethe, a dark and vicious pit that blackened the more that she reflected on her plight. It didn’t take her much to jump off the precipice over anger, hate burning in her veins for the stupid council bastards. And her parents, of course. She had a special type of hate for them. The kind that was caused by a family member that had been wronged. That’s what she though it was, of course. She had been wronged. The shamed princess of the Bella Nova packs, left to rot while her sister began her reign.
The story from her point of view had been warped, of course. Her parents had truly believed that she wasn’t ready, and that their second daughter was the best choice. They also hadn’t exiled her as she made it seem. They had offered her a life similar to the one that she was living now until her sister took over, or until her death.
All Elen could see was rejection, though. That’s why she ran away, to this crowded and choked place that was so unfamiliar.
There were too many wolves, she had decided. Too many filthy, stinking commoners for her to stand. That’s why she had exerted her royal self to the tippy top, hoping to rid herself of their commonness.
Like the rest of her life, though, that just wasn’t going to work out quite as planned.
She wasn’t really watching where she was going, and that showed when she ran headfirst into another wolf, one that was somewhat larger than her, enough to send her reeling back, shaking her head and glaring haughtily at he culprit.
“I advise you to watch where you are going.” She said, the stink eye trained on her unknown companion.
