I know all of you are waiting to find out what your Cost of Living Allocation (COLA) will be for 2013. The cumulative COLA factors proposed by the actuary for 2013 is listed on the pension board's web site. Look in the board package for the Nov 28 board meeting under exhibits from buckconsultants (it will be exhibit 1). The pension office has informed me that the board must approve the COLA at the Nov 28 meeting, and the office will send out COLA letters to retirees shortly after. I can't tell you what your individual COLA will be because it depends on what class number you are in (when you retired). If you look it up yourself you won't have to wait for your letter to know what your 2013 COLA will be. Replies:
