Closer to the full moon, Beltran felt the tug of Moon Crest more strongly that throughout the month. The mostly wolf male was fully capable to transforming at will, as seen by his seven foot form prowling through the forests near Traydon River. However, nearer to the full moon and on the night of, the beast he became tended to be on the forefront. Beltran retained control on most occasions, rarely did he go into a more feral state of mind. Large paw-hands eased across the cold earth. The snow was light, falling a slow, possibly even, pace. The flakes drifted. Some would stick to the earth, others to his predominantly black coat.

Beltran's pale blue eyes drifted about. His mind continued to wander. The brute was lost. Not physically lost, but mentally. It had been some time since his purpose was served, and rarely did he return to his home of Wind Gale. He did check in on an older wolf who lived there, but he failed to understand the connection that the male who'd brought him to the pack had with her, and as a result Beltran with her. Still, an old wolf of his pack being looked after... It was acceptable, but he was lost without purpose.

The black and white male was not stupid nor ignorant. He simply required direction. For a very long time, he was a bit reclusive in his own home, training and honing his skills. Beltran's tail flicked, a small sign of his irritation at himself. The Were continued his prowl through the lightly falling snow. Even on constant alert, Beltran was lost to his own machinations. Granted, he'd made a companion of a Ztehn, but a creature who took after his 'master' of sorts made for a poor social compatriot. As a result, you had a less than social wolf-dog with some violent tendencies and easy irritability with no direction by himself? It could be a good or a bad day for either the brute or whomever might cross his path within the forest.
