During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

Chocolate soul holders watched as Serris lowered his form to give Kobato his warmth, she assumed. He didn’t seem to appreciate her question him about the young princess but she guessed it was because he didn’t know what to do. When his jaws parted she expected some smart ass response, but he just sighed. The alpha really was at a loss and it went caused her to worry about Kobato. Her question to the little tyke seemed to have brought her spirit up a little, but she knew the sickness was still there. That absolutely, even though it wasn’t true, brought a smile to the usually emotionless mask the omega wore. I am glad to hear that. Oddly enough, her tone had no hard edge to it as she spoke to the child. Black, twin towers caught the sound of Serris huff but she gave no acknowledgement of it as her attention was on Kobato for the moment. Surely there was some way she could help the girl?

Devil noticed two more wolves enter the clearing, two titans that she guessed as siblings from the similar scents. One was ivory and the other ebony in color. One of them glanced at all the members and when his gaze met hers she watched him back in silence. A small smirk appeared on her mask at the idea of all these wolves wishing to join Munashii Gekko. The two moved to Serris and one of them even smiled when he saw Kobato up there with the alpha. At least, until he too picked up on the peculiar scent that came from the little girl. Obviously the two strangers had met their little joy maker, and one glance at Kobato showed that she was happy to see them. His words questioned the King on her well being like she had done. Serris apologized for not greeting the two earlier and then said the bubbly girl had been better. No kidding, Devil remembered the first time she laid eyes on the pup. What came next made her breathing stop briefly as the sick girl still tried to cheer everyone up. Kobato wasn’t kidding about this making hearts happy crap. She would lie and say she was alright even though it obviously wasn’t the truth.

A new scent announced the presence of another youngster that came rushing up to where her and the others were around Kobato. He must have been an orphan like Kobato from his looks. It was obvious he knew the little girl and was worried about her. When he finished talking to his little friend he addressed Serris and asked for forgiveness on trespassing. Still, his poor judgment on how to enter pack territory and address the alpha first may cause him trouble. Sure enough a vocalized snarl escaped Serris, who had placed his front pillar between the two little ones in a protective gesture for the girl. Devil knew then that Kobato had gotten past the stern harshness in the male, even if the demon wouldn’t admit it to himself. The omega grinned briefly before heading away from them. Serris, and maybe the others, may not know what to do but Devil’s Angel had picked some stuff up during her loner years. Even as she left she could hear the little one trying to calm ‘Serryberry’ down.

Yarrow, also known as Achillea millefolium, was the best thing the ebony and ivory colored vixen could think of. As a loner it had become her best friend, for sickness and wounds, and she figured it could help Kobato. It didn’t take her long to find a stubborn clump of the fern looking leaves with pink flowers, the gold center a dull color during the day. Thankfully the cold weather hadn’t killed these plants off just yet, their stubborn nature reminding her of the one who needed their healing properties. Devil was quick to bite a few off halfway down their stem before she started to head back. Along the way though, the scent of a stranger stopped her from making it very far.

Front pillars moved to the left as her body turned in the direction of the border. She was quick in getting their, her chocolate orbs taking in the other ess briefly. Dropping her precious bundle at her ivory paws, she spoke quickly and to the point. Follow me to the alpha if you wish to join. The omega picked the stems back up in her mouth and headed back to where the meeting was going on.

Once back near the stream and among her pack members, she moved to where Serris and Kobato should still be, and maybe even the brothers, Devil placed the small group of Yarrow near Serris. This should break her fever. Her words were soft and meant for the alpha. Would he agree to let Kobato have them, and if so, would the tyke even eat them willingly?
