The curious male listened and watched as Ana spoke about how she was gathering mosses and herbs for the pack lands. “A healer.” He murmured, mostly because it explained a lot about the fem. He knew a healer, and she very rarely was found simply lounging around the pack. She darted here and there talking to the members and checking their health. Aster wondered if this fem did the same. Little did he know Ana had ties to Haven, not that Aster knew where or what it was, but it would make it so the fem before him was familiar with his mother’s student. Once she was finished he gave her a genuine smile, knowing her words were very likely the truth, and to be honest, he couldn’t blame her. He couldn’t say he would want to be around a bunch of grumpy tails when she, a sweet healer, was only trying to help and lend a hand. Though, something perhaps told Aster that she got a lot more work into doing her healing at Fire than perhaps Nibelheim did at Ice.

He figured he would voice this question, “Do you have to heal a lot there?” The red brute gave a tilt of his head, icy eyes setting on her curious. Perhaps she wouldn’t say, she was still Fire and Aster didn’t doubt that she still held loyalty, even if she wasn’t like the rest of them. Perhaps because she wasn’t like them, that would make her even more loyal to her home. He couldn’t say, he had only just met the girl after all, but he couldn’t say that he didn’t want to learn more. Aster, was a bit of a scholar at heart, and he was very curious and wanted to know as much as he could about the pack politics. Particularly since the war.

Her question about him being at Traydon didn’t catch him by surprise. Why should it have? It was an obvious thing to ask given he had just been prying her with the same question. “Yeah, a bit of wanderlust I guess. Ice Pack gets rather vicious during this time of year, best to be out of the way during the transition.” He chuckled slightly, “But really, I was told to visit here. Supposedly this territory means a lot to many members of my family. I wanted to see if I found it just as meaningful.” He added, not really sure why he had chosen to give her this certain bit of information. But the more he thought about it, he really did wonder if he would find something that would deeply affect his life here today, or ever.
