The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

She confirms my suspicions, that she did go searching for me alone. I don't like that at all but something tells me scolding her about that now won't do anything for the cause. What's done is done. She tells me more about the wolves I had under my rule. Apparently they were undisciplined and violent. Well, sounds like the type I would attract in but I guess I didn't get the time to really teach them any manners, how to be civil, how to survive. I wonder how many still live to this day. Oh well, not that I can remember the names of them to ask anyway. Besides, the only one whose important is the one standing in front of me. She searched when the others didn't. She never gave up on me. That means something. It has to.

She hangs her head. Sounds like I wouldn't have wanted you to stay there, anyway. My mouth twists in distaste to think of the wolves I once ruled running around Blossom like blood thirsty maniacs. If there's anything Godric taught me about, it's control. I'd hate to think that I failed him by leaving those wolves unsupervised. I look at Sookie. I'm guessing someone else has taken over since I left. Perhaps they're better behaved by now. I have little faith in that if any but at least I don't have to worry about them anymore. It's kind of freeing not to be in charge anymore, not to have the responsibility of so many hanging on my shoulders. In Andere, the only one I have to worry about is myself.

She giggles again when I ask if she'll show me some of those enemies but I can tell by the look in her eyes that she doesn't really want us to meet. Whose she more worried about, me or them? I'm left to wonder as she tells me she plans to eat them before they find me. Sookie...you take away all my fun. Haven't you been taught how to share? My eyes glimmer humorously. She smiles and it seems to light up her whole face, every blood stained patch. I can see in her eyes that she cares about me. I just want to understand just how far that care goes.

She only hesitates a moment before answering my question. So she's a rogue. I worry for her safety. It's not in me to let a female go unprotected. She should be safe in a pack, not roaming the free lands, attracting trouble. She tells me she can handle herself and I look at the blood smearing her coat again. Yeah, I'd say she can. I smirk at her question, eyes glinting. It's a thought. If you think you can stand the company. My tone is teasing.

She looks at me with a brow raised and it only makes me long for her touch more. I can tell she wants to do something about the distance between us yet she holds herself back. My eyes turn curious. Why? Is there something else I should know? Is there someone else? Then she whispers and I struggle to catch every word. My answer is a smooth whisper back, eyes smoldering into her own. Actions speak louder than words, Sookie. Unless there's a reason you hold back. There it is out in the open. My eyes latch onto hers, wanting an answer, wanting the truth. Is Sookie out to be mine or is there someone in the way?
