The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

She notes the two females wrestling before dismissing them with a shake of her head, turning her gaze instead to the first sibling to waltz into the clearing. When the girl makes her smart comment, Cade reacts sharply, pinning her to the ground before growling in her face. I stand my ground though it takes every ounce of strength to hold myself back from the scent of adrenaline in the air. Cade doesn't even seem to take notice of the young male who races in next and responds to the comment. She seems to be thinking about something, perhaps wondering whether to chase these wolves from her lands or offer them a place in Andere. Vampires would make a good army for her, but they'll have to learn discipline first to be of any use.

I snap to attention when another scent hits my nostrils, a female this time. She seems to be off near the borders where that other sibling of Damon's is staying. I hear scuffling before running paws tells me that she's on her way here. She races into the clearing and I shift my weight when her eyes fall on Cade and the young girl, the flash in her eyes telling me that they're related. Thankfully this girl does have some brains though cause she wanders over to her older brother instead and sits down, glaring in Cade's direction instead. I hear her whisper something under her breath, telling the other girl not to fight back and I take note of her name, Sakari.

Another wolf arrives, this one not unknown to me. He's the prick who thought he had the authority to make me submit and accept me into the pack when I came here before. I had dismissed him and let him leave, more bent to stay at the borders and wait then risk my neck and come on in because a low ranking wolf told me I could. I glance in his direction before dismissing him as he bows to Quirino. Apparently the guy is a suck up so he's of no interest to me.

The pup listens intently to Cade as if a god is talking to him, his hackles bristling as if that's going to help him look any less ridiculous than he already does. H finally wnaders over to the boulder and sits down, looking as mean as any helpless cub can look. I smirk, eyes flashing but I leave him be. It's not worth it.

Instead I turn to see the male who had been hanging out at the borders wandering in. He moves over to Damon and sits down, greeting his brother as calmly as if his sister is not currently being pinned down and threatened by the alpha as he speaks. He looks eager though, his eyes hungrily looking at everyone as if deciding what he wants to order off the menu. I don't trust any of these new vampires. They look too under managed, too uncontrollable. I would have ended them by now, sent them to their true deaths so they wouldn't endanger the secrecy of our kind. Most of them look like troublemakers, hell bent on getting what they want, no matter how. My muscles remain on guard, ready to attack at any given moment. My eyes sweep over the family alertly, wanting to keep them under surveilance as much as possible. This may not be my home just yet but if I ever plan on it being that way, I'd better start protecting it now.
