She glanced behind her and growled low in her chest. For the stubborn brute he was, he would not get on her nerves--she still had affections.

She spat on the ground as she continued.

"Snow Berry is most likely having an affair with the cow dog, and Chains is nowhere to be found. I have been lurking about, perhaps making a few lures-and-kills. Don't worry, Monsieur, for I have not been..soiled."

Her last sentence was a joke, but she still was a virgin. If a brute tried to take her, she would simply kill him and anyone else who did, with the exception of perhaps Jim.
