The dragon was very mean. It shot at people and there were a lot of people all of a sudden for it to shoot at. They were swarming out of the castle and everything! And at the head of them was some guy that looked familiar and huge and tired. From the safety of her tree she looked at him through the branches, wondering where she'd seen him before. It was.. he'd been in the castle! When she was summoned there for whatever it was. He'd been walking around with someone, deep in thought. Probably trying to decide what it was that had driven everyone to go to the castle and chose between names from history that didn't mean anything anymore. He must be a guard, a head guard! That was good! That meant that the King's dragon's would be coming to join them and they would be bigger and stronger and nicer than this dragon and be able to completely take him out and things would be good again.

While she waited for those new dragons she continued to throw bubbles at the dragon, though it had little effect. Listening to it roar when she managed to get a bubble near eyes or ears was pretty fun, though. That could be the new game! Instead of hit-everyone-with-ice they could play throw-at-face-and-dodge to see who was better at throwing and who was better at dodging! The dragon would definitely have to be a lot weaker with it's throws though she thought, frowning.

The fairy's thoughts are interrupted as hands come out of nowhere and grabbed her. The dragon had grown hands! With a squeal she struggles and wiggles and tries to escape but the scratches hurt when the dragon-hands were over it and the bruises that were forming hurt even more when the dragon-fingers dug into her skin and then it talked. Maybe it wasn't a dragon. Dragons didn't talk. They just went roar and growl and threw fire or ice at you. And maybe stone. The dragon had been stone, so it was probably really good at stones too. Amyway, the dragon was saying names. It said her name, so she looked up past the hands and saw an ordinary fairy that looked like someone she knew but she had no idea who. Then it said another name that was all history-like but then it said Spertania and her eyes widened at that name. The cat was here! Instantly she began to look around to try to find the cat, but she wasn't in view. It was kind of hard to look, what with people milling everywhere and fire being thrown around everywhere around the dragon. Someone was even making fire walls in midair! That was cool. Being able to do that had to make them the most awesome person ever because fire-walls were awesome, especially when they stopped ice from hitting a whole lot of people. She was so entranced by this that she completely missed the sign from the other fairy that she should go join the others people by the guards.

With a delighted giggle she chases after the others, though her “chase” is more limp and scrabble and trying to avoid anything that seemed like it would cause a problem. Like mud! The ice had made mud everywhere. Being muddy and all scratched up wasn't good at all. So she jumped over the puddles and scampered around the big scary bushes and overall tried to keep up with the fairies that were running toward the guard-person she'd seen earlier. She managed to catch something about water and immediately she pipes up.

Bubbles are good for water, too!” Then, to demonstrate, she summoned a bubble that popped near them, splattering anyone unfortunate enough to be near it. That included her as well, which mad her giggle at the fact that she was now wet and that a giant bubble was the cause of it. Bubbles were fun to play with! Eventually the dragon would learn that, but today it seemed to have had too much of bubbles because it was flying away. That was sad, even if it hadn't learned to be gentle yet! It had to be coaxed back, so she shot bubbles at its tail as it flew away, lining them up and popping them all at once so it would realize how much fun popping a bunch of bubbles could be.
