At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

I think I'll change my ways
She panics, the fear in her eyes is vacant, heavy and infureates me not wanting to see her like this. Silently I panic too, unsure what to do to get her through this. Should I give up and let the water conquer us both or do I fight a little more to prove she can do this when she believes she can't? There was no question, no need to quiz myself on something I knew already. I hear her call out to me, her voice hurried as I watch her sink little by little, more and more beneath the surface of the waters glossy mirror. I call out to her, my own voice coming quickly though the panic so clear in her voice is absent in mine. "Nova! Run, kick your legs like you're running!" My own limbs push forcefully within the water keeping me afloat while my soft brown stargazers are locked on her and nothing else, I knew she could do this. I push out toward her and use the strength I have to stay above the surface myself, meanwhile, I lower my head and grip ahold of her scruff, not enough to hurt her, but enough to keep her head above the water until she gets her rhythm. I wait patiently for her to settle her nerves before letting her go so slowly she may not even have noticed it. My long, lean appendages are growing tired so I would suggest getting her home soon, perhaps stopping for something to eat along the way. I shift the thoughts of later to one side and focus on her again, longing more than anything for her to do this. I want to see her smile, I want to see the joy on her face when she conquers the one thing I have ever known to scare her. Nova and fear? It just doesn't match. OOC - I'm so sorry it's short.
