The mother daughter pair was on an outing, the first one alone and together. Flaming Rose enjoyed the company of her children when she was wandering the Mountain and today was no different, although, perhaps a bit louder than she was wanting it to be. Ember, one of her youngest daughters, was sprinting around little trails of fire in toe. Thankfully the damp, frosted grass put it out almost instantly, but the wolfess couldn’t help but think of a time when she, Taniku and Bandido all when running around the Hunting grounds, Bandido and Flaming Rose as tigers, setting everything alight. Those were fun times… The wolfess missed her two Earth Pack friends dearly and it saddened her that the last time Flaming Rose had seen Bandido had been during the war. She should really drop in and visit soon. Least she thought so, but not with this fire ball in toe. Ember looked a fair bit like her mother, though a bit more brown in color and had white on her pelt, eyes a softer, lighter green she was a pretty fem, though perhaps, like Katana her half-sister, one that would never quite grow up out of puppy hood. Ember was just over a year old though, as she laughed and let out a booming bark that sent birds around scattering laughing just after at their panicked screeches and caws Flaming Rose simply smiled. She was happy she had the energy to keep up with her children, share youth with them to a certain extent.
“Ember.” Flaming Rose’s motherly tones echoed out towards her daughter, Ember only seeming to ignore them watching the birds tail wagging about lightly. “Ember.” Flaming Rose’s voice was slightly more stern this time, her daughter turning and looking at her smiling slightly. “They live here too, you know, you don’t need to be scaring the life out of them.” The mother could tell her daughter was not moved by the statement, instead she seemed to spite her instantly by letting out a loud howl and dancing away again dashing through the woods and starting up her flaming sprint again.
“But it’s fun!” The yearling yipped happily, darting through the trees her mother giving a quite audible sigh before moving forward once more though the woods. Ember watched Flaming Rose carefully, to her, it was funny that everyone treated her so differently, yeah alphess, yeah rank blah blah blah, in Ember’s mind. It was her mother, didn’t matter what her rank or position was… She was normal, and Ember was starting to think that her mother wouldn’t be so, well regal, if others would just give her the opportunity to play like she used to when Ember herself was a pup. That in mind the fem darted away out of sight of the emerald eyed wolfess grabbed a thick stick and ran back coming up from behind her mother and jabbing her in the hip.
Flaming Rose turned when she felt the rough prod, only to see her rusty colored daughter in a play-bow growling at her, smirk on her maw. The dual colored wolfess watched Ember brow raised as her Tri-colored daughter let out another challenging growl the stick in maw. Flaming Rose gave a small laugh and turned away to carry on with the walk, she could hear Ember still sidling along behind her, still letting out little playful growls and further jabbing her in the back with the stick. It was a quick motion when the mother turned just after she had been jabbed for the firth or sixth time the red wolfess grabbed the edge of the stick, eyeing her slightly smaller daughter grinning and giving a strong pull. Ember happy that her mother finally fell to the prodding dug her back paws in the ground and pulled back still growling until she felt her grip slip and watched as her mother took off with the stick, Ember close in toe. Flaming Rose felt her running slow as Ember gripped the stick once more, sending the red wolfess spinning around the stick the center of the force. They both growled playfully and continued their games, mother and daughter having a fun time a passerby would most likely see a side never really shown of the red wolfess.
