Aster listened to her story intently. His darker tipped ears were quite focused in her direction, eyes watching her all the while. Her facial expressions where strange, she talked of this monstrous tigers as if it was normal to have such things about, it was unsettling, but it was her way of life. Also something that bothered Aster was a leader who didn't lead, but instead a puppet on a string? That too was quite interesting. Seg�s name, was a name Aster was very familiar with, he had never met the brute, but there was always den talk between his mother and father about the brute that previously owned Fire and now was pretty much a hermit within Ice Pack. Least, last Aster had heard he was back. He wondered if he should have told Ana? The rest of her story though was far more interesting, and perhaps would provide a bit of light for Ice Pack and ease worry. "You mean, this Tigress, she will plot to have the son of Strider taken out?" He said, hopeful, it would make life relatively more relaxed around home, that was sure, and that would be something very worthwhile. But, it was just a hunch, he reminded himself, and Ana was of Fire Pack. Despite how much he wanted to believe her and trust her, she was of a pack that had just randomly attacked his. If she was lying she was very good at it.

This pack, it was everything that Aster wasn't used to in a pack. Violence, death, betrayal. He couldn't really digest it too easily. When Anatola had continued to explain the Beta had saved her from her own father, he felt a bit of gratefulness. So the tigress was power hungry, manipulative perhaps, but she had something there... Why she saved Ana was a bit of a mystery. The thought of mentioning that Seg had been in Ice after losing Fire escaped his mind for the time being.

"Yes, you have helped a lot. You may have just put an entire pack a lot more at ease. I will not lie to you, since Fire had attacked, our once peaceful pack has been on edge." Aster said looking in the direction of his homeland. "If this Beta, the Tigress, chooses to oust the current Alpha and if she is controlling as you say, will she make to attack Ice again? Or was that just Strider and his son's dreams?" Aster wasn't sure if it was safe to be digging so deep into Fire's workings. He really was fishing now, but this could very well change Ice Pack if they knew they were probably very much safer than they had been before. It wasn't certain, but if he could talk to Ana later see if the ownership changed paws they might be in the clear.
