Niall felt his body being bounced, and it just didn't feel right....or good. Now his stomach was hurting. He felt the need to throw up, but managed to hold it in. He didn't want to hack on Kaidren, it just wouldn't be nice. He kept his eyes closed, tight, and groaned in pain. His foreleg was bothering him, hacking and sneezing, and now a stomach ache was really bothering him.
The ride had stopped quicker than he expected as his cold body hit the ground. He groaned again and let his eyelids open slowly but surely. His eyes were as pale as they ever would be. He coughed once again, his eyes rapidly being closed again, and then following his cough came a sneeze. He heard what Kaidren said, and tried to reply, but his voice was shaky, so she probally couldn't understand him.
"Don't look at me...."
He wasn't trying to be rude, and hoped Kaidren wouldn't take it the wrong way. He kept his eyes closed; he didn't want her seeing his dull-colored eyes because of the cold. Then he remembered his forleg, and tucked it in, trying to hide it. But then the thin layer of whatever froze it up broke, and he felt the blood running along his belly. So, he rolled over his shivering body, and opened his eyes because he knew Kaidren wasn't looking at him or thought so.
"Why'd you even save me?"
He started, less shakily than last, then let out an upsetting sigh. His eyes didn't regain their color, not just yet at least.
"You probaly hate me now. You probaly still want me. You probaly want to have pups with me. You probaly dream of having me as your mate. You probaly have some jealousy burning in your soul over Rhea because she has me. That's probaly why you hate her. But none of those things should happen. You shouldn't hate me, or love me either. You should understand that Rhea is my mate, but you seriously need to stop being jealous. One day, you'll find someone that loves you, loves you more than I ever could. One day, you could get into my situation, but with you it would be 2 boys that fight over you. Then you would probaly do the same as me. Try to kill yourself. All I'm asking is, find someone that can provide for you, love you, treat you like a queen, protect you, not get in fights with you, and more. I could never be like that."
He sighed again, closing his eyes. The blood still trickled out of his foreleg, and his stoach still hurt. He sneezed again, and was silent. He was waiting for Kaidren's reply. instead of waiting, he started again, because he had more to say.
"If I was your mate, I couldn't hunt for you, because, all that I would hunt down I would claim mine, and then probally eat yours. If we had pups together, we'd probaly only have 1 living because of my past. My family has always had bad litters. My original litter was 6 pups, but 4 of them died. My brother is in bad condition, he was born without one leg and an ear. If I was your mate, you'd have to deal with me hanging with the boys a lot, and they would have to get along with you. Lola wants nothing to do with you. And it might spread to our little family. If I was your mate, I couldn't protect you for crap. I'm weak. I would more likely get into fights just teasing with wolves. And one day, I could just tease the wrong guy."
He sighed again, and said,
"That's why I picked Rhea over you.
He turned back over, his bleeding foreleg easily noticiable, and he didn't care. He opened his eyes and looked at Kaidren, eyes still dull-colored.
"Do you understand love?
