With her tail high, showing that she was in heat, Frozen Tears padded down towards the rivers bank. She hadn't seen a single male interested in her. She was the flirt of the five teens. Her and her three brothers and one sister. They had all acted like there own pack. So what was the need for a real one? Her white pelt seemed like a thin blanket on her curvy body. With her tail swishing behind her, she carefully crouched down on her pillars to lap up some cold water. The air alone could show that it was turning to winter fast. That was her time of year. When her pelt blended and her icy blue pools could match the frozen water of the lakes. She pulled her head away and just stood there for a moment, at the waters edge. As if waiting for one of her brothers criticism. They'd always said that she was to young for a mate. But she didn't care. Where had Earthen Fairy gone? Her beloved sister? She didn't even know.
