Mystral's tail began to lash like a cat's, sweeping snake-like marks into the damp riverbank. Behind her, Muse remained still, less intent on the hunt - or the game - than his sister. He would join in, of course, but only because in his mind, he and Mystral were one. They functioned as a unit, and they were never apart.

"Helloooo." Mystral echoed the leopard's tone, leaving one to wonder whether she was returning the greeting or simply mimicking him. She said nothing else, but moved forward, barely disturbing the water as she sunk down into it and began pushing herself slowly across. She swam like a crocodile, stitching her body from side to side and letting her legs drag while her tail and wings did most of the work. She took her time as well, keeping her colorless eyes locked on the pair of cats all the while.

Muse hesitated a moment longer, trying to predict his sister's intentions before he followed her. Unlike Mystral, he was wingless, but that was no hindrance to him in the water. He also lacked the rows of short spines that ringed his sister's neck, as only female Night Walkers were adorned with that feature. This only served to make him more streamline, and while Mystral drifted along at a deceptively sedate pace, Muse caught up to her with little effort. And then, on a whim, he cut in front of her, sliding up onto the bank first to meet the leopard pair. Perhaps he'd make friends before his sister decided to torment them.

"You have lovely spots."
