At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

I limped along the path, I was still hurting from the hunt with my pack. My mix matched eyes, kept with no emotion in them, looked around. There was really nothing here that I could really do in Blossom Forest anymore. But I wouldnt leave my family. Only two more were missing, RedRust who was my father, and Haci my brother. The others were here again. I limped, my right front paw off the ground. Just cause those bulls had hurt me doesnt mean I was going to stay out of trouble. I smirked as I looked around, you could just see the little cranks turning in my brain as a plan came to mind. I chuckled inwardly and started to build a master piece. No matter how much it hurt, I started digging a hole big enough for me and maybe another wolf. So if a big male came along he'd be stuck. Then I covered it in leaves and brush. Limping to a hiding spot I waited. If anyone came along they'd be stuck in a straight up hole unable to get out unless I helped them. I snickered at the thought. My mother always told me to stay out of trouble. Did that ever stop me? Sure as hell didnt.  |
