Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

How lonely is the night without the howl of the wolf?
IP: 80.192.168.9

The timber hued ess wandered away from Saw Tooth. She was hoping to see Terrel at the meeting, but he hadn’t shown and when wolves started to vacate the clearing, the lass simply picked herself up and left. The femme was just like others of her breed- her pallet was a mixture of browns, blacks, whites and creams. Her ears were tipped with black and a black stripe had formed on her forehead and down her muzzle. With all the different colours the black almost looked like a dark grey, but be assured it was black. Her star gazers were an amber colour that in the right light looked the colour of honey.

Terrel, her adopted son, was growing with every coming month and soon he wouldn’t rely on the lass as much as he had done previously. He was starting to stray away from her now which caused a knot of sadness to tighten in her stomach. Not long ago she had rescued the clumsy pup and soon he would no doubt be starting a family of his own. The lass- too wound up in her thoughts- hadn’t realised just how far she had gotten from the pack lands. When she finally lifted her eyes off the ground she discovered she had wandered somewhere she had never been before. She found herself at the foot of a beautiful cliff. “Wow.”

Gracefully the vixen began to climb. There were many other wolves here, all of which were adults. Judging by some of the ledges on the cliff, she gathered that this place was a little dangerous for youngsters. In no time the huntress had jumped, scaled and climbed to the top of the cliff. The view was breath taking. She peered over the edge looking down over Blossom Forest. She could see Saw Tooth and Staircase Falls where she had met Terrel and near enough everything that was part of Blossom.

A scent wafted past the lass’ sensitive nares. One that was strange to her, although being a top predator she ripped the scent apart in no time and found out as much information as she could. Judging by the scent it was a wolf... A male. The lass turned to see the brute. He was alone. Slowly the femme made her way over to the male. “Hello.” Her voice was calm, soothing and welcoming. Hopefully if she made a noise she wouldn’t scare the lad and would avoid a fight. His reddish- brown pelt was being blown by the breeze that was floating around the top of the cliff.

In no time at all the vixen had made her way over to the brute. She stopped a wolf length away from him. She didn’t want to get too close to him, just in case he wasn’t as nice as she was. “It’s lovely up here isn’t it?” The lass sat on her haunches and looked out over Blossom. “I’m Channing by the way. And you are?” She turned to look at him. She noted everything about him. His posture, facial expressions and body. The hunter was excellent at reading people. Her amber eyes searched him, trying to find out as much about him as possible. As she did so her eyes fell upon his. Unlike hers, his were piercing and blue. The femme turned once again to look over the scenery.
