Will you remember me?...

She was a cream colored femmora with black tribal markings on her face and chest. Her father dead and gone and her mother left alone. Mari wasn't one who lingered on her history. She came from an interesting family, A large litter where many if not all the sibling from there perished. Then came this litter, from a father who fought a dragon from the first returned to his love horribly scarred. A love lost and dismantled. Mari was keen on never falling in love. So she grew a shield like ice with a platinum coating around her heart.

Mari's eyes were black, nose and pads mimicked the eyes. She was considered very handsome for a female. She could easily be seen as a beauty of sorts if it wasn't for the icy chill of her heart. Her brother Boulder thinking he should protect her. Mari needed no protection. She was of Earth, smelled it too. Her new Alphess a wolf, before that a fox. Mari had an undying loyalty to her land and if Demi ever asked, Mari would be right there to defend the land. Almost like it was her only love.

Today however Mari decided to go for a walk. She passed by her mother den on the way out, didn't bother to speak. She passed by where Boulder once lived, didn't have a second glance in his direction. She wandered to where her beta resided...nodded to the green tigress as she lay half sad, half understanding a long ago departure. Out of Earth and onto the mountain grounds she wandered. Mari kept many things to herself, pain was one. He had been having a painful cut on her paw that wouldn't heal, mostly due to Mari constant travels and reopening of the cut that way. She walked as if nothing bothered her...although at night she would lay and lick her wound.

It was getting a little harder to bear, it seemed her paw was swelling up now. There was throbs of pain shooting up her front left leg due to the cut. Still Mari walked on. She would eventually have to tell someone, Alpha or Beta will probably be those she tell first. Right now she had to rest. Not far from Attica, but still unaware of his being near by, Mari sat and tended to her paw. Looking for one of the flowers that grow most abundantly in the Coral flower pack but hoping to find one outside of it's home she got lucky. Just covered in frost nearly dead but holding on to life was a purple flower with healing powers. They didn't grow in earth, and rarely did one ever grow outside of the Coral flower pack but this must have meant to help her. Mari took the flower in her paw and smashed it with a bit a water and created a paste with the paw that was not aching. She spread the paste on her cut and instantly started to feel soothing. the fem sighed, "Ahhhhh." as she sat there. "Maybe now you could completely heal." she said to her paw...mostly to herself, unaware of any possible passersby.
