I wait for the answer patiently when a very familiar scent hits the air. Tamlin. I wag my tail and turn my head, welcoming the sight of my alpha. He takes his time getting here but that's okay. I know he worked hard on taking that boar down with the rest of his hunting party. I dip my head in respect when he finally does come into sight, my tail lowering below his, golden eyes gleaming with respect. I've never known a better leader than Tamlin. He loves his pack and he would do anything for Bright Moon, of this I'm sure. He glances my way as he arrives and I smile, glad for the appreciation in his eyes.
Then he turns his attention to the group of wolves, naming off three. I tilt my head, curiosity in my gaze. so he knows some of the wolves. I guess they're already members then. He looks down at the puppies next, calling out to three of them before asking for the rest of the names. I look over at one wolf but another runs up to me, wagging her tail. She's young and looks outgoing and friendly. I grin at her words and nod at her question, lowering my head till we're eye level. Of course. Everyone meets Tamlin. An older wolf calls out to the young female, calling her Sushi as she pulls her back. I smile gently at her apology and shake my head. It's fine. She has something to be excited about.
Another older wolf giggles and I grin at her, giving her an inviting look. I like these females already. She looks about ready to speak but the young wolf I was looking at before suddenly pipes up, answering my silent question. At her request, I lower my head in front of her. Okay. My coat is solid white though it's hard to keep clean so usually it's more of a yellow tinge from dirt. My eyes are a rich golden color. My fur is thick and my legs are long and lean, good for running. My face is delicate and my muzzle is slender. But I'm nowhere near as pretty as you. I smile gently.
I look up as one of the wolves addresses Tamlin, correcting him on her name, Whisper. Then the other wolf speaks up, Sunshine, telling Tamlin the names of the other puppies. I grin as the puppies topple over each other until they're practically standing on Tamlin. He looks apologetic for getting the name wrong, a smirk on his lips at his nickname Tammy. I watch as he lowers his head, talking to the puppies on his paws. He takes in their unique perfumes and then tells the wolves welcome back. I wag my tail and smile, glad to be a part of this.
