SUFFER MY WRATH OF PINK TABLES O_O
 A month had passed since Kobato had gotten over her sickness. Canine distemper, as it was, did not take a light toll on her, however. It shuffled her cards and caused her to forget nearly everyone she knew. Her high fever could still be scented on her desert-rose colored pelt, and her toffee optics often sung of confusion. However, she did not forget her place, her past or her goal… her one wish in life so that she could find herself with the one she loved most. And, as a growing gal, now a young teen, Kobato was convinced that her work with Serris, Serryberry as she affectionately titled him, was nearing success every passing day. His reaction to her weak and frail bodice had been enough to tell the simple-minded child that not everything was as it seemed, and she had a small thread tied around his tooth… where, if she yanked on it unintentionally, a cavity would form by collection of the sweet toxin of care. The words that she had left him with this morning as she flew past the borders were as follows. Smile for me, Serryberry! A normal thing to be coming out of her chocolate lips… but… it was the first time she had called him by his nickname since her sickness. And then she was off, leaving Prison and Calla behind, racing off on an adventure that she would call her own. And as the day ended, she found herself here of all places, lowering to sip a small vile of crystalline fluid. Happiness, per usual, ebbed around her being, engulfing it in an eerie sort of way, as if it relished in the fact that it was treasured so much by such a pure being. Lo and behold she was near to the wrong side of the fence, and just her luck, a sound had sent her on her toes. Who’s there? Although young and hardly dangerous, Kobato’s toffee stargazers did not betray her. Curiosity, surprise and a bit of relief came from her lovely little frame. Me. the voice replied, and soon a pale demon with demonic-looking optics stepped into beautiful little Ko’s view, illuminated by the constellations above their heads. What the hell are you so freaked out about, anyway? Fish swim up your ass?” His words did not faze her at all. Having grown up since she was a mere puppy with Serris, King of Munashii, Kobato had been exposed to words her ancestors would guffaw at. So, instead of staring at him like he were some vile creature that washed up from the banks of a polluted river, she let her signature smile place itself on her kissers, her gazers softening visibly. They closed then, and a bell-like giggle sounded from her throat, her tassel flicking with amusement behind her. Her hackles lowered quickly and her guard was down. To be expected from the world’s cutest scatter-brain. Kobato was not freaked out! Her strange way of speaking in third person had also been something that stuck with her since childhood… perhaps she would never lose it… But someone sure is grumpy!She opened her optics back up and stepped right up next to the vampire, totally relaxed. As a pup, she had done the same thing to Serris… and he had plucked her up from the dirt, swung his head and launched her into the bush. She came right back like a boomerang, spouting out naďve nonsense about flying. Even now, she did not see anything wrong with what happened at that point in time. Kobato, although sweet and very compassionate, had a thick skull. Back to the present, shall we? Right up in his face, she twisted her dial so that her crown was cocked a bit to the side, her tassel wagging behind her enthusiastically. So, Mr. grumpywumpy, why are you so grumpy?
