"What are you looking at? Hm?"
NAME :: Yu
AGE 0 to 25 :: 4 years old
GENDER :: Male
EYE COLOR :: Deep dark blue, like the depths of the oceans
APPEARANCE :: He is a petite wolf at twenty-eight inches, barely over the minimum healthy weight for an arctic wolf. His length is about three feet and two inches and he weighs as much as a female wolf, eighty pounds. His fur is his most admirable aspect, to make up for his puny size his fur is luxuriously poofy. He tends to it every day, making sure it is nice and soft. Even with the extra fluff, many may mistake him for a female, but be warned that he would not take it lightly.
PERSONALITY :: Yu constantly mumbles complaints. He would walk and roam the lands with a mutter of harsh criticism with every step. It almost seems as if he enjoys it, although he would probably complain about how unhealthy it was to complain so much. He is short tempered and snaps when he feels offended, whether the offense was intentional or not.
But the small, grouchy wolf isn't all that bad. He's rather honest about his feelings, although this could go both ways, and he does try to help others in need. He might spit a rant while assisting you, but try not to take it to heart, he is quite a good friend if you stick around long enough to figure that out.
IMPRINTING ABILITY :: Able

From grass to sand again, Orfeo paced himself as he journeyed about. He had no exact destination, as his head was rather pointed upward toward the sky rather than in front of him. He simply wanted to find food, but it seems as though that might take a while, for he has not found any food at all. No burgers, French fries, steaks… actually there were no restaurants in sight at all. The place seemed desolate, or at least it seems to have a lack of humans. Then again, the only other wolf he had met was Toiro, but even the alpha had stated that there was a whole pack on the island. Are there possibly more?
His paws brushed against the sand that felt rather welcoming and familiar. It is the sand that he had treaded on when he came upon this island, so it was recent nostalgia that washed over him like a light rain from the sky. Orfeo studied the sky again, but it was a blue clear sky with the sun smiling warmly down upon him, sending waves of heat through his fur and onto his skin. The breeze had sent him scents of salt and water, and he licked his lips as he wondered if there was any fresh water around. With a huff he quickened his pace toward nowhere, as he still did not know exactly where to head off to.
Oh he was hungry, the stomach giving a pitiful gurgle as it tried to consume the emptiness inside. Orfeo looked around, but there wasn’t really anything…
What was that? He had definitely seen them before, but they were usually boiled and cooked for humans. They were rather tasty to eat and very soft, but the only downside is that the creature was encased in a hard shell that required a lot of cracking to get to the meaty goodies. Humans made this contraption to easily crack the shell, but Orfeo was sure that he would somehow get the meat from inside.
The creature scuttled quickly as if it sensed danger everywhere, and it probably was everywhere, from the hungry wolf that was looking upon him and the seabirds that gave a hungry cry as they scouted the area for a morsel. Orfeo didn’t even consider hunting for it, he simply walked up to it and gave it a good whiff before deciding to bite on it. As he opened his mouth the shelled creature quickly sidestepped the bite and snapped at the wolf’s nose. The black being yelped in surprise and pain as he backed away, swinging his nose to rid of the iron grip that this creature had.
The creature, having enough of this wolf’s antics, let go and tried to escape as quickly as its legs would carry it, until a bird gracefully swooped down and caught it in its beak. Orfeo didn’t even notice as his nose throbbed rather unbearably. He sat in the sand pathetically as he rethought his actions. He never really expected THAT to happen. Whenever he saw one of those, they were dead! Not snapping about at dangers. Orfeo concluded that dead clawed creatures could be eaten, but not alive clawed creatures.
After that lesson he looked around, almost forgetting completely about the small incident. He sniffed the air and was surprised to smell the scent of another wolf. There were also possibly other wolves, but something wasn’t right about their scent, and they didn’t seem to be around any longer. He followed the scent in mere curiosity, wondering what or who he would find.
Eventually he stumbled across a dark furred wolf, seemingly looking out towards the ocean and then giving a howl. His ears ducked instinctively when he heard it, a sound of sadness had pierces his heart and he paused and lowered his gaze. Perhaps he should not speak with the wolf, something seems to have happened and he didn’t want to intrude. Then again, the little gentleman that he had inherited from the human culture had made him feel as though he must comfort this wolf, so he braved to move towards the wolf. The wolf was rather large and he had first thought of the wolf to be male, but with a sniff he found out that she was a female. He slowed his pace down to greet her and with a light friendly tail wag, he introduced himself, “Ciao, I am Orfeo, a wandering soul. And who might you be, signorina? You seem a bit triste… eh, sad. Is there anything I could do to assist you?”
He ignored the rumble in his belly and gave a wolfy smile, one that usually made humans smile back at him. He was confident that at the very least, he would be able to cheer this wolf up. He had completely forgotten about his hunger for now.
