The fox was on his own with no real plan. He knew how to hunt and how to survive but had no real motives. His dad was back in Coral pack with his family. Ben had left because he knew his life was becoming hectic enough without a troubled fox child to take care of also. So now he was roaming the mountain in search of some sort of purpose. Nightmares still haunted him whenever he closed his eyes so he spent much of his time awake and constantly moving. He had considered looking for Lz, but thought better of it immediately after the thought surfaced. That old brute wasn't his dad. He had been someone who allowed him into his home for a while and that was all. Though if he happened to come across the wolf, he wouldn't hesitate to catch up.
Bentley had grown quite a bit since he had first arrived on the mountain. His mostly blonde fur no longer looked vibrant as it once had due to a layer of dirt that covered nearly every inch of his body. Watching how clean he was wasn't exactly on the top of Ben's list though he figured it was time for a bath as he headed toward the Traydon river. He looked at the water and sighed, reluctantly stepping into the clear water. There was still parts of the river that were iced over near the side banks but he had chosen a thawed out spot. Being in water was far from his favorite pastime. He couldn't help but think of all the worst case senarios. Getting swept down stream and endin up drowning, getting attacked by a not so friendly aqua dragon or one of the horse fish creatures he had come across a few weeks back. Still, he smelled and felt gross. Bentley pushed his troubled thoughts to the back of his mind and warmed the water around him, attempting to enjoy the cleaning session. Replies:
