Yojimbo
8
Male
Light Blue

Yojimbo is 37" and 125 pounds. He has long legs, they are thick and hold lean muscle. He body however, is not thick. It is more sleek and trim. He has a lot of endurance, able to travel long distances for a long amount of time at a decent speed.

He is black, like a dark chocolate, but his fur tinges to a dark copper all around. His fur is short all around, thickening slightly on the underside of his belly and tail. Light grey appears in thick lines under his eyes, and as a smudge between his eyes.

The stars guide him.

Yojimbo's eyes wandered about the land, taking in the sights and enjoying it quite a bit. So, this is the place where Isola was raised, a fine place indeed, and so different from his own home. The tall plateaus were wondrous things of their own, and as they came upon one, the on that would be Heyel's throne, Yojimbo couldn't help but have his blue eyes stare, ever so intently at the marvelous earth before them. Snow had tucked in this earth so nicely, and it really was a sight to behold. As they got closer, he knew they would have to climb, up to the top of this earth. Although he was new to these lands in particular, Yojimbo has had to climb various terrain, and he had become quite well at it. Isola was a kind girl, though young she may be, she held the potential of a leader. She stared back at him, making sure Yojimbo knew where to go for his own safety. The dark male gave a nod to her, following the patch upwards. Yojimbo was not a male of size, but nor was he small. He was average in terms of height, his limbs though, were long, he was on the thinner side, not a thick machine of a power. He was more agile, his muscle lean but that does not mean he is weak. In terms of brute force, Yojimbo wasn't the prime example. But his legs, they were powerful themselves. Copper tinged hind legs pushed him forth, he soared like a bird only for a moment, jumping with graceful skill that few would have on this terrain. Yes, he was a master jumper, for he was one who chased birds, and not only chased, but killed in mid air. Birds. How they were the creatures that brought out a soft anger inside him. It is like embers, never a raging fire, but a burning that never ended, hidden under a charcoal veil. Such fortunate creatures, at least their bodies were, but they had no brains. It is a shame, and Yojimbo swore they were created just to laugh at him.

Yojimbo did not have trouble navigating the terrain. He had watched Heyel and Isola carefully, and was able to replicate and even improve on their strides in some instances. A careful observer he is, and his paws did not falter. But Yojimbo was not going to let Heyel's words go unacknowledged.

"From what I have seen, you have done well," he said, voice unchanging in tone, as it hardly ever did. Paws crushed the soft snow below him, Isola racing forward to meet her father, and really they both were a beautiful sight next to each other. Heyel, a wolf of the snow and among it, Isola, smaller, white, and yet marked with a unique marking on her back. Yojimbo stood back a moment to watch, giving them a sort time together as he watched from behind. The clouds were not dense like they were before, and snow now longer fell upon them. It was a strange feeling Yojimbo got, one he had not had in the longest of times. He felt that he, somehow, belonged here in this moment. Was his year of wandering meant to lead him here, to this very moment? The stars did indeed lead him here, one star at a time, a long string of sparkles that are seemingly meaningless, and yet Yojimbo found meaning within them. His great dark paw took a step closer, everything had been leading up to this point, to look at the sun atop a plateau, with a young girl who he had met at night in a clearing, with her father who spoke in the strangest of languages. Another step, this time the wind calmly brushed his fur, it pushed him so gently forward, a soft and gentle whisper in his ear. It was quickly accompanied by the music of Isola's innocent voice, the first kindness he encountered in the longest of times. So young and innocent she was, for this was her first sunrise, and yet Yojimbo felt she was much too old for this to be her first time seeing the sun-fire. His paws crunch the snow once again, as she calls his name and his frame moves next to hers, though a respectful distance away. He kept his gaze outwards, his cold blues fixed on the bursting yellows. The rising of the sun, always a thing to watch...before going to sleep, and then he would wake to the sun falling back into the earth. He never could seem to find where the sun went at night, that, or he hadn't traveled far enough yet. Yojimbo had that same calm, yet strong sense about him as he watched the sun rise, splashing colors on the clouds that dappled the sky. Among his strong, silent features, another small, tiny grin crept onto his muzzle. Maybe it was just Isola's young enthusiasm, an enthusiasm Yojimbo lacked in the physical sense and yet in his mind he was overwhelmed with such enthusiasm. Yes, this grin was for her.

"It is indeed wondrous, but only one of many wonders your eyes will see," he said, eyes never leaving the spot in which the sun rose. His comment was not meant to lessen the experience for Isola, but instead to excite her about future sights. There was so much to see that Isola had never seen, so many things of beauty and amazing and he wanted her to know that she is surrounded by wondrous things, and truly is a wondrous soul herself. But he did not say such things, not directly, not yet, he knew one day she may need these words, but not now.

His own eyes, so blue, glimmered in the sunlight, the light grey beneath them glowing ever so slightly, that mark between the center of his eyes shining, as they all did under this light the sun gave them. They were all beautiful creatures really, so different and yet all the same. That strange feeling hits him again, and Isola speaks his name, dark face turning, light blue gaze turning to meet her violet. Her eyes, they were wide and open, that young innocence sparking from her and washed over with nervousness. Yojimbo kept his eyes so cool, so tranquil, that they themselves could hold the power to calm a soul. He was peace and serenity, and would be so for her if she needed it.

Her words are humbling. He looks at her in a guardian like fashion as she spoke of friendship and her one day being a leader. She wishes Yojimbo to be an 'Adviser of Things', and he wasn't quite sure what to make of it. Was he really all that wise, or was she just young? Or was it both? Yojimobo hardly considered himself wise, but he did not have much of an ego to begin with. There was a moment of silence between them, as he turned his eyes to the one star that dare show itself along side the sun when it rose. It was a star like no other, it rose and fell with the sun. It was the morning star, and it did indeed peek through the clouds that dotted the sky. He knew then what he had to do, after gazing at that star, he gave one solid nod before looking down upon Isola once more.

"The stars had led me here for a reason, young Isola. Friends, we will remain always, as you wish, for I wish it too. When you lead Trenus, if that is your destiny, I will be this Advisor of Things for you, for the stars will it. They say I am to wander no more, Isola," he states, slow and deep his voice is as his features turn to look at Heyel, the current ruler, the father of this girl, who still rules over her life, protects her. Yojimbo rests his eyes upon Heyel's form, that same kind respect he showed Isola to him, for Yojimbo did his best to show respect to All.

"Heyel, you lead Trenus as of now. You have allowed me to share a moment on your throne, to view the sun rise on this winter morning, and for this I am thankful. I wish to ask you, for a place among your people. I will earn my keep, and learn your ways, if you so choose," he said, dipping his maw and closing his blue eyes, in respect and in sincerity. He knew not if Heyel could see the strong kindness, the wisdom that lingered all around Yojimbo, and how he may make out to be a valued member of the pack. He would not be offended at rejection, it would mean he would move on, to another place in the area until Isola became leader, for there was no doubt in Yojimbo's mind that Isola was destined for great things.
