At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

Unwanted news. It's the only thing that kept the duo-toned vixen from ever turning back to her home land. Everything was gone- Her life demolished with the existance of the past still demanding to linger in her mind without choice. It's not very often that anyone can say that they've lost everything they've ever had. There was no family to turn to. No pack that she could run back to. Not even a single friend that she wished to speak to since that day the world came crashing down onto Thanatos held-high shoulders. The pressure of her discovories caused her aspect of life to change. The fatale's image on every characteristic of the world shattered. There are vargs that take their life for granted, who don't notice what they have before everything is gone, and then there were the true ones, who lived life as the best. Thanatos is neither of those. She could care less. There is no motive toward either reason. Not anymore there isn't.

The winter that was returning to Blossom Forest was no match for what Thanato's had faced in Ireland, and she found herself enjoying the frost beneath her pads. She enjoyed watching the puffs warm moisture hitting the freezing air, watching the snowflakes fall onto the land and covering everything in blankets.. Normally, she would love that. But now that he was dead, there wasn't any happiness left in Thanatos's soul to give her even a glimpse of a smile to pass her ebon kissers. Crispen's death brought on a new form into her life; When she used to be so loving, caring, outgoing, to the point where she couldn't dare to look at any other wolf in the way she had to him. Mostly now, if she even tried to make conversation with another lupine, it would always end with an inconvenience.

Number one rule when making conversation with Thanatos: Don't give her your pity.

The soft crunch of the thin layer of ice beneath her pads brought her back to reality. She'd been traveling around packlands, through stones and across a river- All just to explore this damned Blossom Forest. Even she believed she was beginning to get a little delirious from the lack of sleep and fatigue that she had ignored for the past hour or so. "Over the river and through the woods, to grandmother's house we go!" She mumbled to herself as she shook her coat as she stepped from the water's edge, the freezing temperatures waking her up immediatly before she settled back onto her path. The direction in which her destination was. . Thanatos had no clue where she was going, but instead let her dark brown appendages lead her to wherever they wanted to go. So far she hadn't been any where that stood out to her, or seen anyone that she would even give a thought to make conversation with-Not that it would go well anyway.

Before she could realize where she was heading, the amber eyed female's audettes perked at the sound of faint trickle of a waterfall. It was so sudden when they foliage gave way, becoming scarce as it reached the clearing to the water's edge. Without even thinking she stared blankly at the scene before her, and when most wolves would find this scene almost breathtaking, she found herself disappointed by her lack of surprise. It was so...cliche and unappealing. It's as though you would have to have some sort of spark of happiness in order to enjoy the looks of the reflections in the deep pool. Sighing, Thanatos began to walk farther down along the coast of the pool of water, catching only a glimpse as a ebony frame made his own way through the treeline and sit-Completely unphased by the beauty around it. The brute seemed as hollow shelled as Thanatos was, and even from far away she could see the hardness and wisdom. Tough wolves were made that way through their past, which only made Thanatos curious on what he had went through.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Sauntering forward, the well-muscled fatale's intentions were to just walk by, and not say a word. But as she go closer, she realized just how awkward it probably was to not acknowledge his presence. The distance was closing between them, and she still pondered on just what exactly she should even speak, and it wasn't until her lyrics floated into the atmosphere that she almost regretted saying anything. "I've yet to find a place where my breath can be actually taken from the beauty, and even I would think this would be such a place to find some peace. But I'm surprised that not even my damaged soul can find an ounce pleasure of it's scenery. Then again, it seems as though you could understand." Her words were spoken with an irish accent, not as strong as it had been only weeks ago, but still strong enough where the words were distorted. Immediatly after they left her mouth, Thanatos cringed. Taking a step back, she shook her head in apology and let her amber gems stare into the water. Great way to start a fucking conversation. Great going, Thana. Fantastic job. "Listen, I'm not good at this whole..conversation stuff. Bear with me, please."
