At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

AZA - STEP BACK; THINK

‘Do you want a mate?’ – Those were the words spoken from the Lycaon. Aza didn’t really know what to make of this question; she simply shrugged and sighed a little bit. “I guess I never really thought about it to be honest,” she laughed, her voice calmer and more unusually mellow than before, or at least when you compared it to the acidic and sarcastic growl she had put on before. “I guess I just don’t give a damn about those kinds of things – I’ve never met a wolf that’s made me feel queasy or turn me into a hysterical wreck.” Aza smiled briefly; the love thing wasn’t something she was really confident about talking about: especially with a stranger! Of course, she had had pups but she had simply been reinforcement for the alpha female who had been ill at that time – there was no need for any connections. She didn’t care for the pups; she mourned or celebrated simply with the pack and there was no need for more. Aza turned away, catching the gazers of the brujo and hearing the sigh he made. “Are you alright?” She asked, apparently she was not the only awkward one either.

Aza listened to the brute as she revealed that he was not really thinking about joining a new pack. She did not quite understand this; surely a wolf at a lot of time needs a pack – winter was not fair on lone wolves as she had found out. Aza found that the one good thing waiting for her through all those journeys was a pack – ‘the light at the end of the tunnel.’ She shrugged and turned away, walking slowly along the trail of the water and then back in the direction of the brute. She was not agitated but she was fiddly and the only thing she could think to do was walk. Maybe she wasn’t ready for a pack either? Her muscles had deflated slightly since she had been on that voyage. Her travelling act had left her hungry and thirsty – now she was just hungry but she also wanted to get back to her training… Sure she would not be accepted just because of her muscles but she would be a worthy candidate to become a beta, she’d never challenged anyone before. Sighing, Aza stopped her pacing and sat, slightly closer than she had been from before.

Aza listened intently to Lycaon, her cold amber eyes lighting up ever-so-slightly. ‘You have to make sure you are the best of the best.’ – That was the first tip that Aza nodded to slightly. ‘I am the best – I will be at least, soon.’ She thought, her mind pondering it before making a sharp move to listen to the second tip – ‘You need to make sure you have strength and stamina and depending on the pack, you need to make sure you can forget what you have done. Don’t fester on the past.’ Which again Aza nodded to – she could do that easily. ‘I gave up my pups and that was pretty hard so I could do that tip.’ She thought, zoning out slightly with curious features on her face. “I guess I could do that.” She mumbled, not planning for the brujo she hear it but she didn’t she care whether he did not. All Aza cared about was getting this rank and being depended on – ruling for something worthy of her wit. Her face dried out when they were finished on the subject; returning to her hard stone-cold stare – I’d run a 10 miles if I saw it!

She had mumbled her name and in return gotten his, Lycaon – she wasn’t at all sure on how she should pronounce it. “Do you say that like – Ly-ca-on or Lyc-a-on? or Ly-on?” Aza asked, her voice returning to its blunt and acidic ways; she was getting tired of talking. “It’s not that nice – it used to be longer but no one could pronounce it so I shortened my name.” She yawned out.

She was surprised at the next question that Lycaon asked – he questioned whether she would like help on training… Aza stared at him for a few moments, sussing any jokes out but he was still emotionless. “Um… I guess that’d be okay.” She muttered, looking around for anything distracting. “But when would you start because I don’t know about you but I am starving.” She said, her cold amber eyes staring back at his. “Unless we worked together to bring down something a little larger than a rabbit and of course begin the training?” She asked, waiting for him to start the verdict.

A cold breeze devoured the valley – trees rustle and lakes ripples never ceased – but a small amount of sunshine also peaked through, ever so slightly.
