The kid didn't seem at all interested in the conversation, and Mari was losing interest in lessons for a kid that didn't want them. So she smiled politely at him as she finished explaining her paw and incident and then asked him a question. It didn't seem like the normal conversation of you ask and I give then I ask and you give. It was along the lines of Attica wanted it all about his interest. Mari went back to tending to her paw which the swelling had now gone down the throbbing had stopped and it had finally started to callous over in the healing way it does.

"Yes I am a hunter. Does no one hunt where you are from?" Mari asked amazed at the question, why would someone who hunts be so fascinating to the pup? "I help provide food for my pack, usually I hunt within it's boarders but this particular injury I got when I was hunting out of the land." She answered

His explanation of his family finally made the "hunting" excitement make sense. Although he seemed like he didn't want to talk about his family. If it wasn't weird the dynamics of his family when why would it be uncomfortable to speak about. Mari didn't catch this, she wasn't trying to dwell into the kids thought. She simply waved her tail, got up and said, "Well I am sorry to have asked such a personal question, I was on my way to hunt now. I am not to entirely sure how your family would feel you wandering around with a stranger."

She shook her injured, well not so much now, paw and sighed, "That's much better, I should probably see if I can gather some of these flowers from the Coral Pack for the winter...especially if I"m going to causing harm to myself." Mari turned into the woods, "I really do mean it when I say not a lot of other creatures out here will be as kind as I am...you should probably grow some caution" And with that Mari darted deep within the woods to finish hunting.
