Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

I hear someone else approaching and turn my hear, ears swiveling as I see Seoras coming over. He's still so innocent of mind even though his body is well past innocent. He's growing up quite fast but he was very helpful during the pack hunt. I would smile at him but now is not the time for pleasantries so instead I just look at him, greeting him with my eyes as I dip my head maybe an inch or so in a greeting nod. He comes up beside me and watches the fight as well, though I can tell he's ready as ever to defend his home pack.

The new wolf Rhoedias is watching everyone though I note the way her eyes rest more on Seoras than anyone. After a few moments though she looks back at Salek, wondering if he's okay, I'm sure. Noticing movement, I see Ambrosia's attack land squarely on the side of the attacking wolf, throwing him off to the side. He lands on his shoulder but gets back up to his feet. He's sizing up the enemy and I'd have to say, he's well past out numbered. Why isn't he running for the hills? My ears pin back and my lips tighten. Something's not right with this wolf, not at all.

Suddenly he launches and right at me. At first I freeze, watching him come at me as if in slow motion. I hear Ambrosia's voice, telling me to watch out and then a command to Venga to attack. I don't want Venga getting hurt, anyone getting hurt for me. Reacting on instinct, I coil my back legs and launch right back at him, aiming to meet him in mid air, my jaws agape and opened wide, angled and parted to meet his own jaws and clash. Yes, it will hurt but not as bad as it would if he hit my neck. I use my front legs to try to wrap around his upper body, to hold him still while I bite at his muzzle and face, lower down at his neck if I can reach it. I'm not a massive wolf but I'm not petite either. Slender but as an Arctic wolf, I have size and mass.

I try to use my momentum and weight to push him over so I can pin him but it could easily go both ways. He's probably just as big, if not bigger than me but etiehr way, I'll keep attacking to keep him busy and I'll try to hold onto him. I won't let him into Bright Moon if I can help it. Snarls rip from my chest as I go at his face and neck, something not at all usual for me but this is the first time someone has threatened my home.
