The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

The Killer Of Autumn

A scent drafted to my nose, but yet I didn't know where it came from. It was an abrendot member, so I relaxed. How I knew? I was a member of Abrendot; warrior. I remember that exact day.

I had recently come here from a kill, the prey was weak. And luckily that day was a pack meeting. And I remember seeing a few wolves that stuck into my mind. After the whole thing was over, I was put as a warrior and went right to duty.

I heard the wolf's paws hit the ground, and I immediately turned my attention to her. So it was that girl, I remember seeing her at that pack meeting. I think I misaked her for a pup too!

I kept my ears perked, and my eyes kept on the girl's. When the first sentence of her's was finished, I snapped back, angered, "I've been apart of this pack for a little while now. I'm a warrior here, my commanders are commander Marx and commander Scorpio. The alpha here is Kershov, and I respect him greatly, since he's the alpha. I would never dare take his place, he's been doing a great job at keeping this place in control. And that last battle he had? He had an advantage."

When she said I suppossedly didn't know the rules, I just had to reply with, "I do know the rules. Rules of a warrior here at least." I had a small spark of anger in my amber eyes, and my hackles were raised the slightest bit. This girl was ruining my day alright.......

"I don't plan on leaving anytime soon, even better, not at all. This pack is the best for me now, and I don't think I'll fit in any of the other packs around here. Too weak compared to Kershov." I wasn't kidding, and I seriously knew this pack. That girl was going to think that she could just go around and say to people that they were not members of the pack when they clearly were?

Might as well introduce myself to her. "I'm AutumnLeaf, warrior of Abrendot." I started. I was tired of this. Just because I had a scent of a young teen boy on me and a light scent of a girl doesn't mean that I should be mistaken for a joiner. Plus, I'm inside the pack borders. No joiners would dare enter here without permission.
