She belonged wherever she wanted to be. And at the current moment, that was here, by this cold river, staring straight across at the male who, at first, had driven Kohaku nuts because of his constant attention to her. It is safe to say that the feeling is different now, but not quite on the thin line separating one sided and mutual. Not quite but very near to there. Oh so near. Close enough to taste libido on the tongue but not enough to swallow. Yes, she had been warned. It was she herself who put up that damn wall to keep others out, but Nikandros had been clambering up it instead of trying to break through it as some of the others had. Smart boy. Now, the son of a fuehrer had caught onto Koh's small challenge, and he stood, lowering elegantly into a bow. A small smirk caressed the dove's lips as she raised as well and did a smooth replica of his action, not caring what gender it was specified to. A sound on the opposite shore informs the lady of her next move on the chess board and she straightens up, taking into note the distance the son of Queens has put between himself and the shore. He continued by backing up to shore and then moving to his left, pistons crossing over one another in a symphonic way that should have had a beautiful melody put to it... And then he crossed back to the right with the same amount of grace and fervor and then stopped back right across from the valkyrie. He lowered his head into a bow once more and then continued to stare at the princess, knowing that they game they were playing required her to act next.

Pale pillars glide forward unconsciously, the number of steps (most likely different from the number he took) leading her to relatively same distance from land as Nikandros had been at. The smirk had faded once she had raised back up from her mimicked bow. The icy water bit at her already numbed paws, sticking needles through the sensitive flesh, though sweetly caressing the calloused pads on the bottom of her feet, built up from many months of hiding from demons with her mother in thickets full of burrs and thorns. Now as he had moved backwards, she did as well, the water swirling around her white colored flesh and fur as she did, and soon she was back up on the frosted landscape, staring back at the male whom had (unknown to Kohaku) succeeded in catching her fancy. Now came the hard part. She was going to have to acknowledge that for either of the two to "cross" over the river. Perhaps literally and perhaps metaphorically speaking. Both sounded acceptable.

If Kohaku had not caught onto the first move quick enough, she sure as hell didn't get this one... Or she wouldn't have had she not been paying attention to the way the brutes shoulders swayed before he moved anything connected to his mass. A thankful inward sigh of relief that she had been watching him instead of moving with him escape into her mental mind. And so, as he had once moved, she moved to her own right, her talons sliding over the rocks in a dangerous yet seducing all in one beautiful package. His past movements on the opposite shore were quick, sharp and deadly, as if he were playing with knives and was required to be perfect in catching them every single time. Hers, in turn, mirrored the features, a subtle knife lurking in the background. She stopped, her momentum moving her shoulders to the right as she inhaled and danced the opposite way, back to the left where Nikandros was, no doubt, watching her every move. Her chin was raised, confident that she was getting it, and even if she wasn’t, she was doing her best... And her tassel swept the ground as she redid her copied bow from the beginning, standing back up straight to stare at her counterpart. Now she moved forward again, into the water. Instead of standing there as Nokandros had done, she swept a fast paw through the crystalline, sending a chilly rush of water through the atmosphere, though her paw now lay within the water itself. Next, she twirled to her left, her paws rising in and out of the water, gradually falling into the deeper part of the river, up to her “knees.” It was here that she stopped, her chest heaving, her legs trembling with cold, and she moved back a bit, to the right, and then forward once more. Now she stopped for good, still lingering in the freezing water, but staring back at her “partner” nonetheless. Another daring flash ziplined through her optics and she kept the look there.
