Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Keen ears flick slightly back as she pick up the sounds of another’s approach. Her flawless porcelain figure shifts to the left; hiding her no doubt emotion riddled face. That is the last thing she would ever let happen. Let a commoner see her at her weakest.

It doesn’t happen often, her breaking down. This being only the second time she has actually bent under the pressure weighing on her back, yet it wouldn’t matter to her if it were the hundredth. Beside Heyel the one time she would never let anyone see her that way. If you were weak you were worthless. And she refuses to be that. The breathing helps settle her nerves and the finely sculpted mask slips back into place, where she looks it securely. As ivory ears tip towards the female to catch her words.

Aaliyahs teal and black eyes narrow as she takes in the females bedraggled appearance, the scars indicting she had a harder life. She could have been a loner for a while or she could just like to fight. Whichever it may be was inconsequential to Aaliyah, she could care less as long as the wolf didn’t try to start any problems. Defending herself wouldn’t be a problem - even though looking at her one would doubt she could hold her own – Heyel had trained her well.

With obvious scrutiny the russet and black masked wolf eyes the black female, making no attempt at disguising it. Unlike her brother, Azrael, the girl could care less about coat colors. Tobias and the female in front of her actually had similar colors and Aaliyah still thought he was beautiful.

But… Unlike her boy, this female is not special to her in anyway and in her pompous mind this female is not even deemed worthy for a rate. Besides the black wolf is more deserving of the title ‘warrior’ rather than ‘lady’ with her scars and burn. Scars might elicit pride from some and added to the look of power and dominance among males, but Aaliyah thought the made females look mannish and much preferred her own unmarred façade.

Returning her teal eyes to the females golden ones Aaliyah replies haughtily. “It has. And guessing wrong you are not. Anyone should be knowing of my father enough to know that.” The words are slow, measured, and smooth with traces of the latin she speaks so fluently – since she still only speaks like they do when necessary – yet even through her latin accent the scorn is evident.

Everyone knows about the Angel King and his angel marked children, Trenus had been the largest pack only a fool wouldn’t know of it. Once again her eyes narrow this in suspicion and she is given to rise so she can move closer, she will still leave at least a yard between them, but Aaliyah wants a better look. She wants to know what imbecile did not know about the Angel King and his legions of angel marked children.

Keeping her posture relaxed and non-threatening as she trots forward on soft pads, her ears remained perked forward intently and her expression openly curiously. As she draws closer the fur of her scruff start to prick - there was something - Something about this wolf. When she stops about a yard away something akin to recognition flashes in Aaliyahs eyes before the black and teal depths go cold and her lips draw back ever so slightly to reveal just the tips of her canines.

She may not have stayed with her father and his band every hour of every day. Sometimes she had to be with Tobias. If she wasn’t she would worry and it was better to check on him and stay with him sometimes rather than constantly worry. But she had been with Heyel throughout the two years and so had this wolf. She only now realizes as her own father scent drift in the gentle breeze, how could she have not realized it before. Even she had only she the wolf from a far Ally should have known her.

This wolf that she presumes would wish to take her mother’s place, which is not acceptable although really that goes without saying. This wolf that was decreed by fate for her father and that she has decided, albeit nonsensically to place her anger on. Because maybe if she can blame Cat Eye for something she won’t feel so bad about how she never tried to spend time with her mother. And honestly because being mean to her would make Aaliyah feel better. “I am thinking you should be knowing me, or at least be recognizing me.”

Giving her fathers imprint a look of disdain Aaliyah speaks her voice laced with unwarranted contempt. “Being as you are having been following him around since ‘it’ happened.”

Aaliyah.
