Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

If its not the young master Baggins. Hello Frodo. Gandalf smiled and chuckled slightly. He was acting natural, he had to, or the whole mission was forfeit. So he started walking towards Frodo's den with the boy at his side.Lovely weather, isn't it? Not a cloud in the- oof!

For a wolf his age, Gandalf still had amazingly active reflexes. He spun quickly on his heels to see the heap of fur that had crashed into him.

"Marrie, I believe? I have told you of the importance of respecting your elders, correct? Raising an eyebrow and shaking his head, Gandalf watched Marrie stand and try to apologize. You are forgiven, Master Marrie. Just no more of that today, hm?

Gandalf turned back to walking to the den, still chuckling slightly. He heard pounding paws on dirt and replied simply to  the greeting that accompanied them. A good day to you too, Pippin.

He nodded politely to Sam as he made his way into the den. It had always been a bit short, and generally small, for him. But he made himself as comfortable as possible. The eldest of the group turned slowly to Frodo, his expression serious.

Master Baggins, I...he paused slightly here, waiting to once again gather up Frodo's attention.

I need to speak with you. Privately.

He cast a momentary, but warning glance towards the others, but then his eyes were back on the young Master Baggins.
